I just heard from a Glambert Floridian some very cool news. Here is her email to me: Just wanted to share some exciting Adam related news. I was driving home from work today. It was probably around 5:30 pm, and I tuned into 105.9 FM (which is a local classic rock station) on the radio and they were playing We Are the Champions, but it was Adam singing with Queen at IHeart! Unfortunately, I tuned in during the middle of the song, so I have no idea if they played anything else before that. But I was so happy that they were playing Adam's version on the radio!! I noticed on their website, they had a nice write-up about Adam & Queen at Iheart as well! NO ONE else has put Nate forward as the frontman and buried Adam in the text with an Oh Yeah Adam Lambert also sang WWRY and WATC. Are they Adam haters? I am NOT clutching pearls on this! I think it is so absurd as to be laughable but I am curious about the history. |

Apparently they are Queen haters and have been for 40 years! Some feud they had with Freddie! Twitter people said it is well known, but it was new to me!
But the story is so ridiculous, i can't even get mad at it!

Some serious berting going on here: guardianlv.com/2013/09/adam-lambert-idol-star-continues-to-shine/It's as if the media all of a sudden had woken up out of a hundred , nope four year old sleep. Better late than never. Glad they are finally joining. Question: Do the Grammy's award live performances? I looked at some of their categories ie. Best rock vocal performance, but if you click on it, it says that it is for a specific track or single. Just don't know enough about award shows to know. Thanks Btw, this year the Grammys are held in January, rather than February. |
