I do not read a whole lot into Adam's use of the imagery from the Adam and Eve story in his sleeve. He talked about this when he did the RS snake cover. I recall he said it was his idea to use the snake because of the Adam and Eve story. It is in the RS interview I think. Does anyone remember? And clearly Adam is neither a biblical scholar or an archeologist -- because it is believed that no snakes or apples were involved in the story of the Tree of Knowledge. It was in RS -- I've been trying to find a transcript since this a.m. -- I might have to go dig out my copy. I have it in the Idol Era. There are scans and a transcript here: atop.proboards.com/post/89964/thread

What worries me about tattoos is that they are permanent. They are very popular now, but styles change all the time. In the future if they are no longer considered "cool" they might brand you with a dated look, and unlike, for example a hippy cutting his hair, when styles change, you are stuck with a look you might not want any longer.
Enjoyed all the fan fantasies today. It was hard to vote on just one.

He said he already wanted them removed (they were comic book themed) and was told it would cost $15,000. A fortune for most of us, the cost of a couple of pairs of boots for Adam.

Fantastic!! Thanks so much, Mia, for bringing this to the thread...it was such a fun routine. And you translated all the judge's comments and Sauli's interiew too!! First night jitters are over now. Can't wait for the next installment! Sauli and Nea are a perfect match..I enjoy both of them. Great chemistry for sure and Nea was thrilled the performance went so well. She has been a great trainer for Sauli. They were adorable. Tusen takk!

IMHO you are right only in one aspect - it's permanent, but only idiots tattoo themselves because it's cool and fashionable and I don't consider Adam as one of those people. Tattoos are no longer considered as some seasonal fashion - this is work of art, especially if design is original and tattoo artists is really good. Tattoo artists are respected right now as much as any other artist and their work can't go out of fashion more than Picasso's art.

Love your avi Juniemoon!!! For myself, I would only consider having a tattoo made from henna. It is temporary, lasting 1-3 weeks. They are popular among American Tribal style belly dancers.

I've had henna tats a few times and they are great fun! You can experiment with imagery as well if you are considering a permanent tat. Trial before error..

I had one o those too, but be careful if you plan to colour you hair because henna can make you allergic to hair dye.
