If this NYC happens, we will have to fight the tickets againts Queen fans and possibly the non fans that were at the iHeartRadio concert. I really want to go this time, so hope this doesn't happen this year. NYC is not the center of the Queen universe -- and if this happens, I would not worry about battling with Queen fans for tickets. I think there will be the bigger battle between Adam fans for the close tickets. I am going by memory -- and will leave it to someone else to look up the info -- but I think Queen last played NYC area in 1982 -- Madison Square Garden. And I was at that show, it was not sold out. The earlier show in Philadelphia at the Spectrum was sold out. (They are the same size concert venues.) If I forgot a Queen NYC concert, I apologize. It has been a long week for me and it is just Monday!

Adam performed last night! IF she is correct! russiankiki @saulilambert he was performing with some local singer at the Life Jazz night in W Hotel in Hollywood last night. I actually didn't even recognize him at first. But he did an amazing job, he stayed to hang out after the performance and he was very friendly and sweet with everyone. instagram.com/p/fuXLJLjWAH/

I'm so sorry you lost your job (that sucks big time),but you will get 18 months of unemployment. Squirrel away some of that money!!!! Not only am I on my 4th month of unemployment (after 23 years for same company), my son called home earlier this evening with news he totalled my car......on his way to evening classes. He is fine and that is all I care about.......well, that and the fact that I am sitting here thinking if Queenbert comes to MSG or Barclay, I don't need no freakin' car!! Public transportation, here I come!! Yeah, Adam is giving me something to look forward to tonight...and the timing could NOT be better! "Life isn't how it should be. It's how it is. How we deal with it makes the difference." Counting my blessings.....it's just a stupid car.......

YAY!!!! That makes two of us. Frankly I was kinda disappointed when I attended Las Vegas. They sounded great and all but a 30 minute set with two of those songs not even sung solely by Adam? And the crowd disappointed me big time. IMO, they just didn't seem into it. I want another show like London (with die-hard Queen fans) on US soil. I'll start saving for my QAL-NYC fund right now. Hope to see you there, theosgma. I loved London -- and I expected to be disappointed by Las Vegas -- because we knew it would only be a 30 minute set and we knew that FUN. was going to be involved. But I was pleasantly surprised. I would fly there again and pay the same ridiculous amount of money to see and hear Adam sing WWTLF like that one more time. What crowd? What band? Honestly at that one moment, all I thought about and remember was Adam. And yes, there was one song without Adam and one with him taking half the lead (FBG), but it was really fun and the contrast just proved how great Adam was to all the Clear Channel people who were around me. Also, Nate Ruess got the crowd up and on their feet, clapping and singing along. So I thought it worked out pretty well. No it was not the same as the London shows. And if there is a full US Queenbert concert, it will be great and I hope to be there. But I am glad I went to Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I didn't regret Vegas just as I have never regretted any time I have gone through great expense to see Adam. In fact, I was on the verge of canceling the entire trip because one month prior to the show, my DH was attacked by a neighbor in front of our home and was seriously injured/disabled (still is). But he urged me to still go and not worry about him for 24 hours. And I'm definitely glad I got to witness that version of WWTLF live. I guess I was even more disappointed for Adam and Queen. I don't think they got the reception they deserved. The crowd seemed to love Elton (so I didn't think it was an age thing) and from videos of the next day's show, Paul seemed to get a great reception. I guess my initial thought was that maybe Queen didn't have as many fans in the US. I dunno. I just thought the crowd was dead. The people around me in my section definitely weren't into it, many left, and the people immediately behind us were drunk and spilled drinks on me and my sister. Even though I knew it wasn't London with die-hard Queen fans, I was just expecting a better reception for these legends. It seemed that other performers (Muse, Katy, FUN) were more excited for Queen (from their interviews) than the crowd was during the performance. Anyway, JMHO, YMMV.

[sympathetically] Yeah, but it doesn't mean that it isn't yet another metaphorical kick in the derriere by the oh-so-wacky thing called Life. Glad the kid is ok. Sorry about the car. Hope the job search comes up with something even more awesome than the old one.
