Desperately trying to come up with a legit way to propose a 6pm or earlier dinner time (could theoretically get home by 9 even with drinks) Anyone got ideas? * You had a bad night last night... hardly got any sleep (I dunno... blame the kidlet). Need a VERY EARLY DINNER so you can get to bed early. * You had a crushingly hard day at work... you're almost DEAD from exhaustion... You can do a very early dinner, that's all. * You feel like you're "coming down with something" and have to make it an EARLY dinner so you can go to bed early. Intense out-of-control berting falls under the "coming down with something." Heh heh. I can use pieces of ALL of these. Kidlet was indeed up (and down and up and down) most of the night. Today *was* an incredibly draining work day (laboratory real estate issues - if your projects were already funded this year you've got it; if not, you've lost it, no matter the status of proposals...its gotten brutal...some project leads are hysterical). [headbangs] PLUS methinks there's gonna be some massive berting today. :D

Unless the invitation includes whole family. Then kid needs to be in bed early. sleeping problems, you know. [wryly] Those sleeping issues are true enough.
