Relieved to see that others were disturbed or puzzled by the plot line of a high school boy hooking up with the school nurse. Yes, I think she is still a student nurse, but.... totally skeevy and a big no-no. In real life, if a student teacher were to get involved with a high school student, they would be pulled out of the assignment and probably kicked out of the teacher prep program. I think it is interesting that it is a male student. If it were a female, I think there would be an outcry from the moral police.
I know that GLEE is a soap opera and not known for its ornate plot lines, but I wonder why Ryan went there. He usually includes plots that challenge conventional cultural rules and prejudices, but I don't get why he would want to be on this side of this issue. I wasn't outraged. Just kinda an EWWWWWW factor.

Most of us have seen Adam enter a stage many times; on TV, online, or on stage. But when I saw him enter that audition room on Glee, I had another first time experience (who knew there were any left). There are two comments that Adam elicits most often. The first is without question, "he is so nice!". The second is, "he is so tall". I knew that he was tall but I had never really "experienced" it until he filled up that doorway to the audition room. What with the boots and the hat, man, this guy is tall! He had to almost duck to get in the room.  After that initial shock, I was entranced by everything else. I gasped at his presence and laughed out loud at his audaciousness. Watching Glee was so much fun. |

Oh. One more thing. Eber tweeted about the high school guy hitting on the school nurse....I thought that was wierd too. Isn't that a no-no. Hmmm. I must be missing something.
I am not real clear on this. Is Nurse Penny a college student working as a school nurse? Glee did have a story line where Puck had an affair with a teacher/director of Vocal Adrenaline, Shelby. So not a taboo subject. Shelby had adopted his child and is also the bio mom of Rachel. Glee is a bit of a soap opera too. lol Yes, she is a student nurse. |

There are so many facial expressions in MTN, it's easy to miss them. Like the one at 2:10 when he sings "kiss the bartender twice, I'm a loser". He's performing a play as well as a song.
ETA - Who is Andy Chochran? A writer/friend?
