Most of us have seen Adam enter a stage many times; on TV, online, or on stage. But when I saw him enter that audition room on Glee, I had another first time experience (who knew there were any left). There are two comments that Adam elicits most often. The first is without question, "he is so nice!". The second is, "he is so tall". I knew that he was tall but I had never really "experienced" it until he filled up that doorway to the audition room. What with the boots and the hat, man, this guy is tall! He had to almost duck to get in the room. After that initial shock, I was entranced by everything else. I gasped at his presence and laughed out loud at his audaciousness. Watching Glee was so much fun. LOl!!! The one and only time I ever saw Adam was in a boarding line in Helsinki: I noticed this guy ahead (boarding a plane NOT anywhere I would have thought him to be), hair - check, jacket - who knows, backback - familiar, pants - hmmm, shoes - oh yeah!!! And then I still was not sure because everyone says he's sooooo tall!!! That threw me off ... he's not that tall IMOm quite in line with other IMO.

Looks like MTN peaked on iTunes about 3.8 hours ago. Peak was #71 on the main chart. Currently at #73.

Hi everybody! I seem to be mainly lurking these days (RL is kicking my butt!), but I had to comment on Glee -- which of course I have watched many times by now. I loved Adam's part, naturally, and I do find it interesting that people seem surprised he is a good actor since he spent many formative years acting as well as singing. I think he is truly gifted at comedy, and I hope he will be able to use that comic timing and deadpan delivery a lot during his Glee run. I also thought the Ohio parts of the show were a snooze. I watched Glee for the first two seasons and then lost interest, and I hope they move the show to NYC because the other parts are not interesting--at all. In fact, I found them fairly painful even though I like a few of the actors. I'm not surprised by all the new fans, as Adam in that snuggly sweater is seriously hot and approachable. And Adam in full Starchild regalia with that voice is . . . ummmm . . . a religious experience! *waves at everyone and goes back to work* For me the Pretty Little Liars episode was a bit painful so I was a bit worried. Adam's face is so expressively theatrical that although he portrays the expected reaction it's not minimalistic as "a slight tightening of his mouth and narrowing of his eyes portrayed his thoughts". His mouth is so mobile it's a full frown (who else can do that? Jim Carrey?) or his eyes pop very wide on surprise. I still saw some of his acting as OTT on first watch but then I compare him to the other Glee characters and that's how everyone is filmed on the show so he fit right in. And who knows what the other 14 takes of each scene were like. We all know that for Adam, experience is a great teacher. The more he does something the better he is. This is great experience for him. It's a crash course. Love it!

Not to make a big deal out of a word, but it stood out to me a little that Adam thanked people for their words of "encouragement," of all things, rather than "praise" or "appreciation." I guess it would be egotistical to thank people for their words of awe, which is more what I saw . . .
