I MISS GLAM NATION!!!!!! Me toooooo!!! I'll take the occassional one-offf... but it's so much more efficient to group 4 or 5 concerts in a region over a couple days (say Omaha, Kansas City, Des Moines, Minnesota, Peoria, Rock Island..... etc.) than it is to go from Biloxi to Thackerville!! Yes, I propose that Adam rent a tour bus for 5 weeks and stop at numerous places from Miami to Winstar.

Yes, the hostess said that this song is Sauli's "power song" (a song that gives you strength). They probably had been talking about the song before the show. In the introduction to the 2nd performance Sauli talks about the aches and pains of intense training, so the song is not mentioned there. Thank you! Sauli's power song! Also, My Fan Club subscription expired. Is my page still there if I pay up, or do I start from scratch? TY!It should still be there but locked. At least mine was when I reupped several months ago.

This is an excellent venue! I am so excited! From the Ticketmaster site, the concert is supposed to be GA on the floor and reserved balcony. This looks like fixed seating on the floor. Wonder which it will be?

Stopping by to drop off some corrections to that Examiner article about Lady Gaga and ARTPOP. Yesterday the idiotic Examiner.com posted a story claiming “Artpop” was going to lose $25 million and cause massive layoffs at Interscope Records. Hilarious, totally untrue, fabricated. But The Vulture at New York magazine and The Wrap each picked it up. The story has now been removed from Examiner.com. But pretty much all the stories at that crazy website should be removed.
In fact, Lady Gaga’s costs are protected by endorsements and underwriters. There’s no exposure to Interscope. And worldwide, Gaga will do just fine with “ArtPoP” even with a 225-250K opening week.
But why didn’t it do better? Lack of focus. “Born this Way” had a purpose that spoke to the fans–especially disenfranchised teens, bullying victims, LGBT community. What is ARTPop about? It’s about Gaga moaning about her hip surgery, a supposed drug addiction, and the rarefied world of art auctions. How can her audience connect with this?
Telling: Her “Saturday Night Live” performances and hosting doesn’t look it drove sales at iTunes. Lady Gaga has gone way off point. I think that’s what manager Troy Carter was trying to tell her. And now he’s gone. From here: www.showbiz411.com/2013/11/18/lady-gaga-album-sales-down-40-but-interscope-didnt-lose-25millionArticle contains some other interesting bits. peace&love I never saw Examiner.com take down articles faster then the did the articles about ArtPop. One was really awful and filled with lies -- including the fake hip surgery story. Lasted 20 minutes. Gaga must have people watch the web and requesting takedowns. There appears to be no doubt that $25 million was allocated/spent for ArtPop promotion -- but mark me skeptical that sponsorships are a large part of this total. There is the applause car commercial and a few other lesser sponsorships but not a dent in that total. And any thought that sales in the rest of the world will bail out ArtPop is like a stretch to me. On iTunes it is only in the top 10 in 3 of the 10 major markets -- #2 Japan, #5 US and #7 Canada. So if it sell 500K that is $5 in promo per sale. Looks like the Gaga pyramid scheme may be over. By that I mean, investing more in a project than it makes based on the future. The future is now.
