I am going home to Mississippi for the holidays. I CANNOT BELIEVE ADAM PLANNED A CONCERT JUST FOR ME!!! EKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! ETA: Of course this is 308 miles from my home -- not exactly down the street. But still driveable! Are you going to Miami or Winstar? I am flying to Miami for post Thanksgiving break. Then going to Mississippi for Christmas to NYE. I passed on Winstar because I have NYE plans. But I am free enough to drive to Biloxi. Hotel booked! There are a lot of rooms available in Biloxi. The insanity continues! ETA: Now if Adam books a concert in Ohio when I am up here, I will be in heaven! |

Def doable, tho! My BFF & I drove up from the Gulf Coast to see AFL GNT at Tunica...had a BLAST...got a few hours sleep in crummy motel...next morning drove back to Coast with massive hangover. At home long enough for a quick costume change & my SO picked me up to go to NOLA the next night...Know it had to be about 800 or so miles on da road but SO worth it! I am beyond thrilled that Adam is coming back to my little corner of the world again....Never thought it would be Biloxi, too! Figured maybe New Orleans...someday. Nothing as fine as AFL LIVE on a stage! Anyway, I hope he has a sell out at Hard Rock (after I get MY tickets, of course,) and comes away from the Gulf Coast with lots of love (& money!), so he'll want to do it again. Looking forward to meeting bunches of fellow Atopians at Hard Rock. I don't post much, but you guys keep me massively entertained & informed on all things Adam every day. Can't thank you enough for being my lifeline to AFL. I feel like I know so many of you. This is the best place to be! |

Yes, I have done the trip many times. It is "our" beach in Mississippi and I love that beach. (That or Pickwick Lake in NE Mississippi but that is more for boating.)
I did Tupelo - Tunica - NOLA during GNT. But tacked on some time in New Orleans to well be in New Orleans.
I have booked the hotel. Now I just need to nab some good tickets.
