I remember his tweets about last Jamiroquai album "Rock Dust Light Star" and Janelle Monae and her "The ArchAndroid". Ok! Thank you. Getting a pretty good list going here. Be doing better if I didn't keep falling down rabbit holes!

Well, when choosing between the 4 sets of letters in the animal personality test, I came out an Owl. But when reading the animal descriptions, I am more of a Cat. So maybe I'm not intrepreting the Information question correctly, or maybe I am somewhere in between a Cat and Owl. take the test! see the top of the page to click over to this www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.aspWe are not always what we think we are! LOL - came out the same - absolutely, positively an Owl.

I remember his tweets about last Jamiroquai album "Rock Dust Light Star" and Janelle Monae and her "The ArchAndroid". Oh, yeah. And he also tweeted about the first video from Janelle Monae's latest album "The Electric Lady". It's a song called Q.U.E.E.N. featuring Erykah Badu. OT -- I saw Janelle Monae at the Club Nokia here in L.A. a couple of weeks ago, and she was awesome. Look her up on YouTube and if you like her music, I highly recommend seeing her live. As an Adam reference, it would be great to see him with a band like hers. There were 11 musicians: a drummer, percussionist, guitarist, bass player, keyboard player, 4 string instrument players and a 2-man horn section. Plus 2 back-up singers. Great sound. Memory lane: Club Nokia in LA was the last show of the Glam Nation tour. Such a fun show!

I am in Ohio most of the time -- so anything in the Midwest or Mid-Atlantic is in my driving range! NYC-DC-Chicago-St. Louis is OK with me! But I really do need to go to Philadelphia and it will not be a fun trip so an Adam concert would really liven it up! I was hoping for QAL in Philly. Not near as expensive as going to NYC but close enough to NYC. But I think if this happens it will be way past the time you are in Philly. I will struggle over to Philly for Queen -- it is only 7 hours away (by car). But realistically, I do not have great expectations for QAL in the US. I think they might be able to do a few (2 or 3) shows in mid-sized venues. But Queen has not been booked in large venues in the US since 1982 -- when Freddie was alive. Queen was popular in the US from 1977-1982. They stopped touring in North America in 1982 because they could not sell tickets (the underlying causes are debated but include not "understanding" US radio and releasing "Hot Space" which was not a rock album causing many US fans to move on.). In any case, they have been out of this market from 1982 to now except for the Q+PR mini tour which was booked into mid-sized venues and a mixed lot but some of the shows were less than 40% sold -- and the venues topped out at 12K. I think Adam is as big a concert draw in the US as Queen is -- maybe bigger right now. It is one thing to have a great, well-known song catalog. It is very different to have a concert-ready fan-base. [Queen is certainly bigger in most of the rest of the world but they were never as big in North America as they were in other regions.] It would be completely different if there was some new, great music that QAL collaborated on. Or if they found 20 unrecorded Freddie compositions and recorded them with Adam. Or if it was for a big popular cause. But without news and radio airplay/promo and something happening online, I just can't seen how it. And I can't see QAL selling enough tickets to get booked in Madison Square Garden (Capacity 20,000) unless it is a super-concert -- that is someone else major is on the bill. More likely they would be in venues the size of Nokia LA - 7K. Or something a bit unusual like Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm starting a project where I want to put together a collection of all the music Adam has recommended. I've checked Atop but don't see it which doesn't mean its not there. Anyone? Help? Natalia Kills, 'Perfectionist'.

Not sure if this would be possible, but do you think if QAL booked some big primetime tv gigs, like maybe Grammys, Amas e.t.c. Or even on a talk show, this would build enough demand online to fit a 20 k bill? I am not suggesting Adam and Queen are building enough hype to be on US tv at this present point of time, but if this was the case do you think their would be a possiblity for a bigger venue?
