What I think is happening in Adam World.
It can be really dangerous when I get to thinking.

The Tipping Point As A Marketing tool/ phenomenon that turns a product or an idea into an epidemic
which is a concept I think is being used.

First Word of mouth starts with Nile Rogers and Queen specifically and perhaps peripheral Lenny Kravatz, Katy Perry et.el. are shown to both approve of Adam and enjoy his music. Plus as a non-entity shows like Pll and Glee are making him cool to a different demographic. It begins with just a few people and who in this instance are known to be talented and hot to start the domino effect. This type of person, and who knows behind the scenes what persons Adam has made contact with, are known to and trusted by others, and who have wider connections to influential groups. Oh and I'm not suggesting Adam is using them, he genuinely seems to like these people and they him, which I think is key.


Secondly how Adam is described has changed. Enough messages, press releases, descriptions are coming out using same or similar words. Superstar, worldwide star, vocal powerhouse, Grammy nominated singer, Billboard chart topper and less and less do you see Idol Runner up. Either it is an effect of word of mouth or good press releases the power words are sticking. (Unless you are People Magazine and pull from your archive without updating)


Adam has also been placed in context this year with the big boys. Iheart, Life Ball which is arguably the biggest charity event in Europe, the Miami Make a Wish etc and was shown to “fit”. Even the Halloween party was shown in such a way to indicate his was the party to be at. Ellen pulled that one when she implied she was texting in part to Adam about attending.



All the talk about what venue Adam could fill today, right now got me to thinking about all the work he has done this year and what would come out of it. I believe he is on the cusp right now and about to TIP OVER. The 2M for his video of MTN while not viral is impressive, the increase in twitter followers on the average, better press words are indicators’ I think of his becoming this year/18 months what we all sensed from Mama. Iconic. And better branded than Santa Claus. His new music, which will be phenomenal (it could be the phone book and be phenomenal) with the right roll out will do it. I think his new management/PR team will do it right this time if all other indicators are to be judged by something they have done. The question is what venue will he be filling in 6months.
