I have grabbed a peek off and on to see Sauli and Nea's skating this week, but just now took the time to watch the full finale performances and read the translations. It is a joy to watch them! Many thanks to the translators - so much work for them, but it is much appreciated, and makes the performances that much more meaningful.
And thank you for continuing a site where those of us who are interested can follow Sauli's adventures - Lots of fun to come, I'm sure...![]() |

OT..since DOI came up. I want to apologize, Adam Lambert, for dissing your vid about voting. I had NO idea that both Sauli and Arttu got tongue in cheek videos..this is what happens when you don't see a whole show. Both were meant to be funny. I thought only Sauli got a vid and that didn't seem fair to me. And I'm a Sauli fan for sure.. Boy, I missed that one by a hundred miles. I feel like such a dolt.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Wasn't it great of Adam to record that vid in support of Sauli????   I'll go hide in my corner again. LOL |

Is there a trick to finding the performance videos on the official DOI web site? I can't seem to find them. I found YouTube versions for performances 1 & 2, but haven't found one for performance 3 yet. |

Totally off topic
But what a a thrill to listen to a live stream last night of the Miami concert.
This is one of the few times I have to say I thought one of his songs was way off. Reading sound was a problem but....
The DRAGON ATTACK was off. I thought Adam started off on the wrong key and the band was awful. They did not do this song justice. I am in awe of BRIAN MAYS and Roger Taylor.
Adam has such stellar vocals and I really feel he needs to have better instrumentation. I know he's a loyal friend but his concerts could fly to moon and back w a superior band.
oh well...Kickin in is still one of my favorate songs from tp, it's so kick ass...

Q3 & anyone else, what was the sound like where you were standing? I heard from 1 person that the sound was rather distorted where she was standing. Depends where you were I was near the front by the speakers and it was distorted you can hear it with some of the videos. Mangokat was in the middle away from the speakers and they said the sound was good. Just want to say had a fabulous time and it was great to see old friends and meet some new ones. Adam was on fire what a great show he must have missed performing. Looking forward to the Winstar. We were in the 4th row of the "fans" (behind the VIPs) and the sound was close to perfect. The ceiling is a big dome and the acoustics seemed to be best in the center of the venue. I try to avoid being near the speakers because the sound is usually distorted. There were a few people near me shooting HD video so I expect some video with great audio will appear. |

Hey CrazyOldGal - I love Dragon Attack and agree with you. From the performance vid, he started off-key.
