Adam had a time cutoff so that the staff could get the audience out and set up for the LIV Nightclub event. They were setting up the bottle service tables as we were leaving. I think that is the reason he did not do the planned 2-song encore. *** Regarding the concert -- I still cannot form coherent sentences about it. Once I wake up, I will post a recap. But it was a most excellent show. Clearly for an adult audience. Q3 & anyone else, what was the sound like where you were standing? I heard from 1 person that the sound was rather distorted where she was standing. I walked around a bit and it depended on where you were. Close to the stage seemed like it was distorted -- where I was (maybe 20 people back and in the center) the sound was not distorted at all. Basically, on the GA concerts, I trade off being close (usually) to be in an acoustically clean space. And I avoid being near the speakers. |

Totally off topic But what a a thrill to listen to a live stream last night of the Miami concert. This is one of the few times I have to say I thought one of his songs was way off. Reading sound was a problem but.... The DRAGON ATTACK was off. I thought Adam started off on the wrong key and the band was awful. They did not do this song justice. I am in awe of BRIAN MAYS and Roger Taylor. Adam has such stellar vocals and I really feel he needs to have better instrumentation. I know he's a loyal friend but his concerts could fly to moon and back w a superior band. oh well...Kickin in is still one of my favorate songs from tp, it's so kick ass... Dragon Attack was kind of a disaster but I'm not sure I'd blame it on the band. Adam could not find the right key, probably earpiece problems, as you suggest. The band might have been in high panic about what to do--continue playing, stop and let Adam get the problem fixed??? That would be enough to throw them off and make an unstable performance, I think. |

Is there a trick to finding the performance videos on the official DOI web site? I can't seem to find them. I found YouTube versions for performances 1 & 2, but haven't found one for performance 3 yet. The link in my quote has a link for each performance. Do they not work for you? If they don't try a different browser or disable ad bloc if you have it. They worked for me in IE but not Firefox because I have adbloc in Firefox. |

Color me confused- How is Shoshanna's tweet definite confirmation of a new label? Thanks for asking this question. I read Shoshanna's tweet over several times, and could not find anything to be excited about. We all know that he is working on album 3 already. I do believe that is has or will soon have a new label, but do not see conformation of this in the tweet. I am always a little dense and literal though. |
