Sheesh there are so many versions of his CD, I forget not everyone buys out of country like I do. ......Gotta get every song! haha I play the bonus tracks on rotation more than the regular tracks. My fav tracks seem to come from the bonus tracks (from both albums)! I find the poignant messages and the groove suit my driving mode. The regular tracks get their fair share of my "ear" time when I add up the concert/tv/event youtube listening! If it is true confessions time, I will admit. I have the Deluxe UK CD of Trespassing, but I listen to everything on my iPod. And, when I loaded TP onto it, for some unfathomable reason, both NCOE and BTIKM didn't transfer over. Or, to be more accurate, I "accidentally" deleted those tracks from my iPod, and just have never gotten around to adding them back into the rotation. It's funny -- but I also have my own special digital Trespassing album -- and I also left out two tracks that do not belong on that album -- the RCA mandated tracks NCOE and BTIKM. But I put on Runnin' 2 times. I also have a special FYE album where some of the album tracks are replaced with Acoustic versions -- like Aftermath. I really like my versions a lot. *** I have followed Queen closely for a long time -- and I think it is very, very unlikely that Brian and Roger will do an extensive tour -- my bet is a few concerts -- like five. And I think there is very little chance that Adam will tour with Queen, but he might do a few special shows -- a mini tour. Regarding Adam's management -- Adam is a very self-directed artist. He is not someone's puppet. DMG and Edge have done a great job working for him, his lawyers have done an even better job -- and they all work for Adam, not the other way around. IMHO Adam and his management team are right on track, he is separated from 19 Recordings and RCA, he has built strong support in the gay community (something he did not have in 2009), he is building credibility as an actor and TV performer, he did iHR Music Festival which is the biggest Clear Channel Radio event of the year, and most importantly, he seems to be evolving as an artist. I expect big things for Adam in 2014. And I think we have some surprises coming. ETA: I just realized I wrote "He is not someone's puppet." And there is a puppet windmill GIF in the thread. I just should have used that!! He controls puppets!

That was sobering, Daenerys. I'm sorry. I don't want a Queen tour. I get some fans want it because it's their era and music and I believe deep, deep down inside they don't believe he will do better. I want Adam and his music. I want him to stand on his own and make a name for himself with his music. He's did the EMA. 6 gigs and Iheart. How much more Queen we need. It will only cement people like Howard Stern who said "This is what Adam needs to do". Really? The more he continues to tie himself with Queen the harder it will be for the industry to see him otherwise. His management needs to start getting serious. We all have our own opinions. Probably not best to speculate on what other fans are thinking. Queen is not my music. I never listened to anything but classical music "in my era". Deep deep down inside not only do I believe Adam will "do better", I KNOW he will be every bit the icon that lovely Paula predicted and more. Singing with Queen for me is a total plus. In no way do I think it is his consolation prize. I was at IHeart. Did you happen do be there as well? I kind of think maybe not. It was my first time seeing Queen let alone Adam and Queen and it was the most amazing energy. The crowd went wild and all the radio guys who never were open to Adam got to hear the real deal he is fronting one of the most phenomenal bands in history. They have this stuff down and a few big gigs in no way will interfere with his music. After listening to that interview with Lyndsy, I don't have any idea where he is with his music. I had thought that perhaps he would release a lead single along with the Glee season in March and then the album a month or two later. Now I don't know. Adam loves to work. He can do it all and it will all be symbiotic and phenomenal. Adam loves to sing with Queen. It is totally obvious and he has developed beautifully with their experienced input. I think Adam knows what is best for himself and I think his management is more than serious. They have done great things with him even without Trespassing being the success it deserves to be. His A list appearances and gigs are way out of proportion to his success as a recording artist because of who he is and how well his management worked out what could have been an awkward year. I totally respect that you are not down with the Queen thing but from what I personally observed at that concert, there are an awful lot of people that can't wait to see a full length show.

Awww.. Adam's face in that last pic makes me so sad. I think they both know the paps are around and A & S aren't going to give them any smiles, etc. It's just nice to know they are still close, whatever that may mean... Re Adam and Queen. Spending time with Brian and Roger - and Nile Rodgers - whether they perform together or not - has to be a master class in all facets of Adam's profession. It's a win for them all. Not a waste of anyone's time. The iHeart concert - even if there had been no broadcast - had people in the audience that make the decisions in the business - and QAL delivered. Not a waste of anyone's time... And - it has to give Adam, Brian, Roger and Nile great joy to perform - even if just for the love of performing - with people at an equal level of talent. Not a waste of anyone's time... If these types of collaborations result in new music, and continued growth in Adam's skills musically and professionally it certainly will not be a waste of Adam's time... And.... I LOVE his puppet video! He is such a natural talent!!

No need to be sorry - it is your valid view and opinion. I'm interested in it - and in how much Adam will be associated with Queen next year. I don't think it will be his biggest thing next year, I also hope his music will be, but I will say this: I was surprised that Adam mentioned the IHeart concert first when Lyndsey Parker asked him his 2013 "highlights." Iheart was the best I've seen him. That's what happens when you have a great band that matches your talent, which is another reason why I think fans love Queenbert. His own band is mediocre. It made me a little sad that that was his highlight for 2013. It should be his own moment alone. I want to see him doing his own thing with a band to match him getting all the praise.

7hrs to late to respond but when Brian said "Queen meeting for Us", to me it means Queen (Brian & Roger), their management, Spike and other band members. Adam and his management will not be included. However I'd like to think that if Queen has considered to do few tours next year and if they want Adam to be part of the tour, they have informed Adam/DMG about it.
Coming out of lurking to say I thought I read that Queen said with or without Adam there would be a tour. Guest stars are the occasional special gig a full tour is just hired help. I'm confused why people are so sure there will be an Queen/Adam tour and why would they even want that. 2-3 special gigs is OK but a tour?. Brian is going on tour in Feb with Kerry Ellis and we don't know for how long. Kerry Ellis @kerryjaneellis1 10 Dec Great day rehearsing with @drbrianmay for our tour in feb ! Have you got your tks yet ?! If there will be a Queenbert tour it would be sometime after March which is suppose to be Adam's time. Either way having a tour at all is once again right in the middle of another album era. I really believe the reason why we had a tour the first time was because Adam and his people already knew there would be no album support for TSP. I think they took the opportunity for $$$. It can't be for exposure because from a marketing point fronting a 40yr band performing old songs isn't going to do anything for Adam's actual career. If there will be a Queen tour than I would have to believe that they know Adam's US audience. No management in their right mind would have their popstar tour with a band that doesn't expose him to a more current audience unless they think that is the best they got. Cover album? heh. Those glee fans aren't going to run out and buy Queen tickets. Not. going. to. happen. which leads be to say why even do it. Shoshanna is Adam's publicist so it's her job to say good things are coming and in Shoshanna's world that doesn't give me much confidence. Also Adam says every year that the next will rock. My worst fear is the big 2014 news for Adam is going to be Queen tour. Can you tell I'm not as enthusiastic for Adam/Queen. Waste of time. You make a lot of interesting points. Would the 15-21 year Glee crowd be interested in Queen songs? I don't know. There were a decent number teenagers over at Hammersmith, but seemed mostly part of families. It may truly be that the pop crowd and the rock crowd are inherently distinct. However, I think there would be at least some overlap. Enough to make a Katy-Perry type audience? I just don't know. Now it is completely valid to worry that Queen touring could eat away at Adam's solo promotions/touring. And that while (IMO) a Queen tour would be AWESOME, it wouldn't be the same as a kick-ass A3. Can the two things occur in the same year without detracting from each other? I don't know that either. But I sure can hope.

Hi everyone, I’m a long-time lurker who has been a fan of Adam’s since AI. I think Daenerys’s post gave us (or at least me!) something to think about. I noticed a few posters in earlier pages expressing some nervousness about QAL not interfering with A3 as well.
I’d love to see Adam with Queen, but I too hope it won’t be too many concerts. Queen is a deadend for Adam: Brain and Roger are more than 30 years older than he is, and how much longer will they be interested in touring? More important, he’ll never achieve his potential w/o his own music.
My hope is that Adam dives into working on A3 starting with the New Year. Not much seems to have been going on with his music this fall, and I wonder if that’s because he’s been waiting for a label deal to be finalized. I can see some reasons for waiting, one being financial: he had to pay for the collaborators and studio time to make demos last summer; once signed to a label they’ll pay.
I’m pretty sure they’ll be some Queen dates, but maybe not until the summer. Can he get this album mostly done in six months? He made a pretty strong statement that his album (or was it just some music—a single?) would be out in 2014 “or something is seriously wrong.”
And Shoshanna and Adam have sent out many more hints about new music in 2014 than they have about Queen. So I’m hoping that’s a sign of where Adam’s priorities lie.

"IMO."
I didn't follow Idol. When Adam became involved with Queen with the EMA rumors, I knew nothing of Queen, really. I was too young for Queen the first time around. I was one of those who thought they were one step above KISS.
How wrong I was! What a wonderful amazing discovery Queen has been for me! And all because of their association with Adam.
I wanted to go to iHeart very badly. I even made a hotel reservation and held it for a long time. Unfortunately, I was not blessed to get a ticket. I would go anywhere in North America to see Queen and Adam if I could get a ticket.
To me the Queen collaboration is special. Historic. A thing apart. The Queen guys are not young. To experience them performing, still in command of their wonderful talent and catalog and collaborating with Adam is an opportunity I would not miss.
