Just amazing to see. PzFeed Top News @pzfeed 1h There is snow on the pyramids in Egypt for the first time in 112 years. @mikandynothem pic.twitter.com/f9BlbUSsRD
I don't know why, but this looks so natural. Like the pyramids were always surrounded with snow one time. It's very mystical. Nite all.. Good night! vivlite, sleep well, sweetheart.

Just send Cassie a PM, I think I will join you and send her one myself now too, because I have not done that yet. In other OT, but discussion-worthy music news: JanusAquarius @janusaquarius whoa RT @billboard: Beyonce Bound for No. 1 As Sales Soar Past 400,000 blbrd.co/IWzLFSThe big question is now, what sales would Beyonce have had, if she had released this week, with a normal promotional media cycle? If that number is somewhere in the the same ballpark, and I suspect, it is, then she just altered the game for all those, who are so big that they have the world's attention, just by the power of their name. Why spend money on promotion, if you can sell like this without it. Does anyone know, who is the unlucky #2, who probably assumed they would have a #1 for the week, and now they got pushed down the ladder? I have to say, I really like what Beyonce did here. Smart lady. Also like that method of making for one week only the album available, and then after that opening it up for individual purchases. And she also thumped her nose at radio with this one, whose relevance continues to deteriorate. She really did this one right, imo. We will see more of that sales model, I'm positive. Not sure, it is a workable model for smaller artists, who don't have the world's attention. But Adam, for example, has a fixed fan base that will buy without any spending on promotion. If promotion is not sufficiently able to demonstrate that it can generate additional buyers, then the question is, whether it is worth anything. i.e. Adam could sell the first week, just to his fan base, using the Beyonce one stop online release model and then use online promotional tools after initial release, and add other promotion, depending on radio's willingness to come around or not. It will be interesting, what he does for A3.

I LOVE what Beyoncé did! I am hoping it inspires labels to think hard! I really hope it might illustrate the importance of albums to everyone, as opposed to the current single mentality!

Good question. Of course, we don't know. My guess, is if the album is dance oriented, like the last one, then I think he is tying into the same 10 - 20 K people, who generated the 80K US record sales for him last time. Give or take a few thousand who have rediscovered him since (Glee, etc). But, if he truly puts out a rock album, I think that his sales will soar. I think there are a lot of people waiting for him to do more rock, and it also would create an automatic news cycle for him, if he did that. My guess, is he could probably double his sales, if he would do that. But, as always, Adam's heart needs to be into it.
Btw, I have absolutely no insight and I am pulling these numbers out of thin air.
Alright, same question back to you.
ETA: More rock with Adam never has to mean only rock. There can be ballads, there can be a funky track, there can be cross-over into alternative music or pop, I just mean more rock centric, without boxing things too much in.
