Checking in after my weekly weigh-in...lost 1.2 pounds. Just gotta keep it going in the right direction. Glad that when I have to go in a few months for my twice a year blood work and checkup, I won't be scrambling to try and lose before I face the Dr. scale like I always did in the past.
Thanks for putting a smile on our faces Chapf!

Well, I'm slinking in because I've been out of control bingeing for the last 2 weeks and have managed to gain 4 lbs! Struggling to get back in control. Think it is eating too many carbs and am struggling to cut back.

Awww, thanks for the Valentine flowers chappy. stardust, we need to hold hands to get thru this. I know how you feel. I'm hoping the last part of Feb holds better weather for us all. My dogs need the exercise as much as I do.

Since I am not getting in my walks on as regular a basis as I was I decided I am going to try something else for a bit. Still walking when I can but will also be giving this a try. www.bodybuilding.com/fun/the-real-tabata-brutal-circuit-from-the-protocols-inventor.htmlWe have a stationary bike that is technically broken. Meaning it doesn't power up and you can't adjust resistance but you can pedal on it and there even with no resistance your legs are moving. So what I did today was: 1 minute warm up pedaling slowly 6 intervals of 20 sec pedaling all out with 10 sec rest (pedal very slow) 2 minutes cool down (pedal slow then walk around) Didn't get my heart rate during for a max heart rate reading but took HR at 2 minutes after (end of cool down) then again at 20 minutes after. HR at 2 minutes 107 HR at 20 minutes 74 I will try to track improvement in recovery heart rate. The thing about this is that your goal is a 20 minute workout

Wednesday - Check In Day
Alright, what's working for you and what's not?
I'm starving during the day and then stress eating when I get home, plus I have a kid and hubby who want to eat completely different food than what I should be eating. Because I'm working I'm not getting my workout in with my trainer. My dad is staying with us for the winter and driving me crazy. I spend way to much time in front of the computer. Yeah, all that. So February hos mostly not been working for me. grrrr. I think I'm back where I started.

Down 1.8 lbs. That Tabata workout really kicks butt. I am so sore from just 4 minutes.
