Weighed in this morning and am down 1.4 lbs. Eating was only fair this week but have been trying to increase exercise (which ain't easy as I am exercise-adverse). This is cutting into my Adam time!! Boo!! :D

Boo!! :D I made a playlist of only Adam songs for walking so it doesn't cut in to my Adam time at all. You need and all Adam exercise playlist.

Unfortunately, I am up exactly one pound this week. That's what I get for eating out! Hopefully, this week will be better.

I just wanted to briefly check in. Rihannsu, I am so sorry about your dog. That is so hard.
I somehow went off the tracks here. A couple of weeks ago, I just got *so tired.* I don't know whether I had a bug or wore myself out or it was emotional or what, but I was tired and I hurt, with some return of the nerve pain from last year. I did continue to go to aerobics but I didn't walk. Just now getting back into it this week. I feel bad because I lost a lot of the ground I had gained and that is really discouraging.
Time to turn over a new leaf again.

One of the problems with watching what you eat is that when you get something really good, it's hard to not dive in and wallow in the goodness. I should know because this is the start of birthday season for me--three kids in two weeks, each with family and friend gatherings with all the goodies to go with. So, yesterday I tried to be healthy and made a yummy eggplant Parmesan. Being baked not fried doesn't really matter when you eat an ENTIRE eggplant in one day. Good grief!

Junie, don't get discouraged, as long as you are in a better place now and you didn't shoot past where you started then things should pick up again for you. Sorry that the nerve pain came back, hopefully it's waning now too.
Kay, don't think of the calories, think of the nutrients and how many servings of vegetables you got. My one day indulgences tend to have a lot more sugar in them. Oh, and share the recipe?
Rihannsu, hugs for your lost one. Scotia, I hear ya on the eating out I shouldn't keep coupons. Star, good work, but you're right, we need a plan on how to exercise during QAL.

Weighed in the same today as last Wednesday. Finally got started walking again this morning though so hopefully next week will be better.

Jablea, you are right about the servings of vegetables but keep in mind that it was supposed to represent self control after a weekend full of cake, brownies, cinnamon rolls and pizza!! I today's test will be a cheesecake for the next bday celebration. I'd probably be ok if it weren't for the leftovers. Here's the eggplant recipe. I do add spices to the bread crumbs and spay pan lightly with Pam, and luckily this time I just made the eggplant to dip in sauce, thereby skipping the cheese. Haven't done so well this week. Gained .8 lbs but have been mostly out of control. Ugh! Trying to increase my exercises, but not really very motivated. Has been a struggle.

Hang in there Stardust. It's great that you come here and I think it helps us all stay more on track to check in. If I didn't 'need' to weigh every Saturday, I wouldn't and no telling how bad it would get. I did ok this week and lost the pound that I gained. My daughter's birthday is Monday and we are going to a Mexican restaurant. My favorite kind of food and the sodium in everything wrecks havoc...especially from those tortilla chips and salsa! I will need to do some major damage control the rest of the week!
