So, now I'm home. Better for a little Texas; better for Red House and Lay Me Down; better for Chokehold and AYGGMY and OLL and the New Year and hopes I have for my family, my friends, my world.
I'm better for the love, the conversations, the sharing we had at WinStar. Don't want to sugarcoat how we are; our individual burdens. There is something, though, when breakfast is shared after a long night - a sparkling night of longing that came and went in the blink of an eye - and the only thing left in the aftermath is love between strangers who live a continent apart. All that's necessary is to see truth in each other's eyes. Sappy but true. Oh, so true.
******* And I am better for having read your beautiful recap. I know Adam has many great things written about him and cannot read them all, but it is my wish that he could see your words. Like Adam, you have a gift, and it makes me happy to see your posts.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2-sGeoojHM&list=RDQ2-sGeoojHM Adam knows the game Take out the fifteen minutes of fame and add longevity and you have Adam.... He is doing GREAT... building a strong base, building blocks, for a solid career that holds all kinds of longevity. He has a smart team working for him and he knows what he wants and is learning how to get there.Success breeds success .. He is #1 Adam is all over the place, concerts,TV,magazine articles, red carpets, charity benefits,Queen ,Avicii,Glee and folks are worrying . IMHO There are all kinds of success and Katie,Gaga,Bruno ,don't hold the answers to Adam's unique talent. Do I hear the sound of angsting just as Adam is admired world wide for his amazing talent, accepted for his sexuality and courted by some incredible talents in the world. Adam said 2014 is going to be over the top.. why oh why would he be the opening act for others??? :-S Just to clarify, I was merely posing a scenario - no angst - and, I think ANY and ALL scenario's are open for discussion -- no matter how unlikely or bizarre. The question was posed as a remote possibility, a "what if he wanted to" not suggesting in the least that he should do it for the sake of his career or anything of the sort. I was just asking who was touring that would seem like a good fit. I've learned a lot from the discussion. I was just giving my opinion.. not addressing what I said to anyone in particular.. sorry you took what I wrote personally

That was very interesting!!! Tommy's been working hard. Welcome americanbluesscene!! I'm just starting on the thread but this is what Tommy says in the interview about Adam's next album: His next album is going to be a lot more rock, which I’m super excited about.
This is a great interview..Tommy's very well-versed in blues. I'll have to admit, in the past, I've side-eyed him on a few occasions, but Tommy is a blues man. Wouldn't doubt he and Brian might have been behind RED HOUSE..
Excellent read, y'all..

It's all good.
