Adam IS looking at houses to buy one. And he does have his own real estate agent. And I doubt that guy had to ask Adam his name at the Open House! But that tweet he sent was beyond stupid. Even if that was Adam's dream house, he couldn't buy it now with the address blasted into cyberspace. Looked like a very peaceful and pretty place. I wonder if that guy is in trouble with his broker? Is it possible that he doesn't know who Adam is? Adam's address will probably become known anyway. The agent was stupid and it is an extremely unprofessional thing to do. But with the security and privacy that house has, maybe it will be his dream house. My thought is that Adam wasn't interested in it though, so the guy thought nothing of the tweet. He tweeted Adam so he would have to know who he is! ETA: Everyone knew where his rental house was too and he only had one incident from tourists. The So Cal fans really leave him alone. Knowing where celebrities live is not uncommon.

I think he knows who Adam is. I think he wanted to thank Adam directly but did it in the wrong way (publicly).
Lol, the guy probably got home and looked at how many hits the listing got and thought, 'Wow! I am going to sell this property in no time', little realizing that most of the hits come from places far from LA.

He attended an Open House which for me means he's not likely to be seriously looking. Sounds more like a driveby, oh look, an open house you want to stop in and look? Adam may have enjoyed talking to him and even given the guy permission to use his name, it's not like you are required to provide your name when you go to open houses. Then again open houses in Southern CA may be a whole lot different than they are in my neck of the woods. I'm betting if Adam is looking, then he already has an agent lined up and they visit houses when hordes of other people are not there. Someone correct me if I am wrong. But I think at this price point you do not just "drop in" to view the open house. Not sure how it would work but I suspect you are on a list of acceptable people to view the house. eta: just a comment on Adams gold bracelet. I think on anyone else I would put it in the OTT, déclassé bracket but on Adam... Well it not only works but looks damn good. You are correct. These usually require that you are accompanied by a buyers agent and are prequalified to make a purchase in the price range.

For a celebrity like Adam, there will be news reports of whatever he buys in the real estate section of the LA Times and online. Whatever he buys or rents will be a secured property.

Does white wine count as clear liquids? Well it won't be around along enough to get absorbed but I don't think that is quite on the approved list.
