Figure skating??????? anyone remember Torville and Dean? I thought they were one of the best pairs Ok Just got back in from walking the dogs (last potty call) and while walking, just witnessed a HUGH RED blast in the sky like you would see in the summer during a lightning storm EXCEPT this was RED Just plain scary - HAVE nenver seen that happen in the dead of winter..weird plus had to dodge damn ice falling from the trees. Relate to Adam? uhm glad he doesn't have to freeze his ass off Oh I saw them compete live and also saw their show a couple of time -- they were great. I think that that both Davis and White (US, reigning world champs) and Virtue and Moir (Canada, reigning Gold Medalists) are better. And the dance competition with be the big showdown of the Olympics -- and the ratings should be huge. I am happy with either winner but would like to see Davis and White finally get their Gold Medals. |

By the way, what Adam duets do we have? We have Slow Ride and then Titanium with Angie Miller... what else? There was the "Going my way" duet!! |

I've watched on and off since then, but I used to really love watching figure skating.  |

My memory is not all it should be but I can think of a number of times we have seen Adam in duets...some pre idol and others post. My prayer twice...once with cantor ??name? and with Noa Dori [sp? again] Duet at pr event for Wicked; most/many stage singing has elements of a 'duet' in that there is sharing of the spotlight idol and post idol: Alison Iraheta; Kris Allen [finale; Ford showcase]; Alison and Kris [RMT] Alisan [Aftermath]; Angie [Titanium]; Young contestant in China [WWFM]; Fun w/Queen, iheart; Russian/Ukraine singer w/queen @ Kiev; I am sure I have missed lots...I have ignored 'group' sings or just audio [such as with Eden Espinoza] And with Chris Colfer and Lea Michele on Glee. I think that the Rockstar will be a great song for Adam and Chris. No matter what they tell Adam to do with it, it will end up with so much more power and authority, that I am expecting it to be really good. Reading the lyrics, makes me wonder about the plot. |

OMG..here I'm talking about that 'song' and Melvin will be taking a VACAY! Bliss, OMG, bliss...the weather patterns will settle all over the world, robins will come to nest in yards across the country and I will even be able to listen to this song with a huge grin on my face. Thank you, Glee. I take back my snarky comment about the song (not really)...lol..  |

I don't like the Glee song at all. It's what I would cal "bubble gum Pop." But typical Glee! However, I do know that Adam will make it better!  The song is so bubble gum..it confounds me that you have the voice of Adam Lambert, who plays well with others, but sticks him with these schmucky songs. Chris can sang..I'd like to see the two of them have a song that merits their vocal abilities. That is all. #whyGlee? And I hope they don't overproduce it to death like the last duet. OK, so I got spoiled with MTN, but Glee is not doing any of their talented cast or guests a favor with bleck songs. JMO. If they wanna be a rockstar, let em sing like it. Give them a rock song! Wail that sucker...geez, I've been in the house too long.  He has fabulous songs in Episodes 9 & 10, so I guess a little bubble gum is OK. Maybe? |

well,I must say, Adam and his team are MUTE on this album. No label, no colabs, no dates, no genres, no HINTS at all.. unless we dig deeep into every wink he gives, he's silent on this one.

Regarding intense forward motion, I think it has started, but is just not being shared with fans. After the oversharing that Adam did on FYE and Trespassing (which did not serve either project well from critical reception to sales promo), I think it is a smart move to stage the promo properly. But we got used to Adam sharing things along the way and it is hard to deal with there being so little communication -- like no communication. Finally, I like the quiet because it usually means that Adam is working, and I want new music more than I want news. Okay, I need to know a couple of things: 1) How did Adam "overshare" during the runup to FYE and Trespassing? 2) And if he actually *did* overshare, how did that hurt him in the long run? How did his sharing hurt critical reception and sales promo? As y'all know, I don't do twitter, so I can't go back 3-4 years and see what kind of sharing was going on at the time, but my tired old brain doesn't remember stuff that would have hurt Adam's promo and/or the reception to his music. Can you guys enlighten me, please? TBH, I don't remember too much leading up to Trespassing's release (except the delays and the ultra crappy BTIKM), but I do remember the build up to FYE and it was SO MUCH FUN because there were so many tweets from various songwriters/producers and everyone was so excited! I guess because he shared so many of his collaborators, such as producers and writers. We knew about almost all the songs before the album came out. But I do agree with you that I don't see how the sharing hurt his reviews. Because except for maybe 2 biased reviewers, his reviews were excellent. Billboard and RS loved it! |
