ET: omg! so funny! when Yuzuru showed up at the warm up my first thought was - the costume looks like something Johnny would wear. And as it turns out - Johnny is the one who designed it! I don't expect there is an answer here but giving it a try. I hear such good things about Johnny and Tara's announcing that I figured I would go to NBC to watch the Dancers short program.....but to my surprise, even though I pay for a cable subscription that includes NBC, I cannot seem to access the NBC live streaming...or their video's after the event. I need to be able to 'qualify' by clicking on my provider and the Canadian provider does not show up. Maybe it is just part of the fuss I have also read about NBC's lacklustre format.... I subscribe to a ip blocker but without a provider id I am out of luck. Any ideas??? I have been keeping up with the CBC coverage and app which has worked brilliantly throughout.... I have been pretty impressed actually..most apps have growing pains or something but this one works like a charm and there was no signing in necessary...and after a couple of ads prior to opening up, there is no interruption to the action at all...no ads of any kind...amazing...who'd a-thunk... I will think on watching it in prime time but I hate the jumping from sport to sport with masses of ads and no way of scheduling just the sport you are interested in. I am not at all interested in watching curling....or even hockey tbh....
How did this line thru happen??? unintentional..... , do you have a channel called NBC Sports Network or NBCSN? They are showing figure skating in real time and in full, usually it starts at 10AM EST and that's where Tara, Johnny and Terry are the commentators. |

No I suppose I mustn't....I would never knowingly pay for a sports channel lol. I assumed standard NBC would do it. You don't even need to have CBC to get the Canadian version....oh well....I would rather watch without all the ads anyway, I just wanted to see Johhny andTara. I see you don't get them in primetime so back to CBC.

The top three ice dance teams were magical. I cannot for the life of me understand the judging in ice dance, never have, but that's ok, I don't need to!
Thank you for that article on the rivalry. I have loosely followed both teams but it does explain to me a little bit of what the judges see.
Now both teams are retiring, such a shame.

Watched the late-night gala coverage. Loved Virtue and Moir's skate. When the first notes of Stay came on tho, I subconsciously expected to hear Adam's version. I actually haven't Rhianna's that often! Can you imagine how that program would have been with Adam's singing. It's a terrific song, only marred by a mediocre vocalist.
Wish we had a super-clear version of Adam covering Stay! As good as it was for a fan vid, it's a tiny bit mermish.
