Regarding the "If I were a boy" on AI. I think the judges probably talk during the performances more than we think. However, we don't always see or hear it because of the editing. I think that JLo and Harry were not necessarily being insensitive but were clueless. Harry said he thought the contestant was just trying to be "cute." And face it, there have been plenty of contestants over the years that would do something just to get attention. This contestant seemed to have something to say from the heart and wasn't being silly. Sounds like a case of motive misinterpretation. Maybe they will learn to be more aware and thoughtful about this.
