Watched Idol tonight and saw the person twitter was saying " don't say he looks like Adam". (he didn't) It brought to mind something I've tried to figure out for 5 years. Why does Adam look so damn hot with makeup? Other men try it and mostly (other than Raja) just look silly. Is it because he is so classically handsome, makeup enhances that or does he just do a better job of applying it? Perhaps Adam is just so comfortable with it and that translates into how his make up is perceived or is it all of the above. I like his current look, but would love to see the make up more. Perhaps on tour!! This summer!!!  IMO - everything you mentioned is at play! and thank you for the Grammies picture - he looked to best ever, ever, EVER! all of him from the hair to the shoes! |

Perhaps on tour!! This summer!!! I think the difference is both attitude and application...but in reality they are the same. Make-up is meant to enhance beauty and focus the eye on the best features of the subject. Both Adam and Raja apply makeup properly. They are not trying to enhance their masculinity or make a simple avant grade statement [although they may be doing that also] or just look like a rockstar pushing the envelop....they are wearing their makeup to look even better than they do, nekkid. Beautiful is beautiful. period. |

If Q+AL cooperate, I don't expect the pre-sale tickets to be available to only one fan group. Why would they? Makes little sense. I believe, that if there are pre-sales tickets, they will be available on ALFC as well.
Technically, ALFC ticket sales have worked well in the past and I presume that will continue that way.
If I were either Queen or Adam for that matter, I actually would be interested to know, what my audience breakdown is, who is from the core Glambert fan base, who is hardcore Queen fan and who is another more general fan buying based on promotional outreach or local marketing. Offering the tickets to both fan bases is the most logical thing to do. It works for them as well as us.

Active ALFC membership. How do I set that up again? I tried to buy a new membership but it insists I need a ground control account which I try and sign up for but doesn't go through. Help!

It is my belief that both fan clubs would offer a pre-sale (if it's offered that is) but I also think that they would probably not access the same sets of tickets - they would each have their own designated amount. Therefore, I want to have access to both fan clubs sets of tickets in case they sell out or to obtain the best possible seat. I'm already a member of ALF and I do not mind joining the Queen fan club to support them with a possible benefit to myself too  . |

Talon, how is the Queen fandom reacting? Are they up in arms again? I checked the QOL, all as expected there, but the sample is just too small to get an idea.... I can't say they are up in arms in so much as they are resigned to the fact either way. Basically the purists know it's coming and have accepted that it's happening (and they aren't going to go). To be quite honest, Queen fandom is more interested in the studio work B&R have been doing on the FM tracks than any tour.
