Hey guys! I am merely a lurker but do visit this site almost every day for Adam news and you guys are great at keeping up with all things Adam. I greatly appreciate all the hard work you guys do as I'm sure every lurker here does. That said, reading in here this morning just really depressed me. Instead of flailing over Adam's amazing performance, I read a bunch of negative stuff about Adam's haircut, his Melvin, his tattoo, his nose ring, his piano partner, the waiters, etc. etc. Really guys! That was an amazing performance of Mad World. The piano didn't bother me one bit and neither did the waiters. All I can complain about is that I wasn't there to hear him in person. And if the next complaint is going to be that the audience wasn't attentive enough, then all I can say is that the world doesn't revolve around Adam, as much as we might want it to. Hey...I totally get that some love this look and others, not so much! But trendsetting this is NOT!!! It is everywhere....along with that facial stuff....  :lol Not hard feelings Mszue.  It's just... I can't help it, but I love all looks of Adam (except for Frankengump :D). And I know it is everywhere now, but he was for sure one of the first sporting the haircut (or the facial hair) |

Why must not liking a look equate to being a cup half empty personality? Everybody here has a look that isn't their favorite right? We don't have to have a group opinion, do we? I think it's more about people who let others opinions/moods effect their own.
Personally I HATE that he sang a song connecting him to Idol yet again. But certainly I hesitated to say that because I know it will depress some members. Yet why must I have to censor myself to only happy-happy opinions?

i also come here frequently and even met some of you at the London Queen show. I am a half glass full person, but I often don't post a thought since if it is not the most glowy, 100% supportive thought it does not go over well with some of the regulars. And honestly if it becomes too much like work rather than an escape/enjoyment to think about how you are phrasing every last post, it does become tiresome. so I see the points being made by both 8toinfinity and jomoma2. And with that, I supposed I should get back to actual work. haha. Back to actual work. LOL Yeah, probably a good idea.  But don't over-think yourself into not posting. ATOP really is the most civil fan site around IMHO. What could happen?.... - Someone won't agree, but they will be fairly nice about it
- You'll be ignored by active posters (probably most likely outcome)
- You'll be expressing the opinion or questions of many other lurkers who will be silently applauding
- You'll start a whole new discussion which is disparately needed during this slow news cycle.
