Thanks all for your thoughtful and fascinating responses to my p.o.v. and question about his hair. The art of hairstyle choice as part of social presentation is interesting to me.

Why must not liking a look equate to being a cup half empty personality? Everybody here has a look that isn't their favorite right? We don't have to have a group opinion, do we? I think it's more about people who let others opinions/moods effect their own. Personally I HATE that he sang a song connecting him to Idol yet again. But certainly I hesitated to say that because I know it will depress some members. Yet why must I have to censor myself to only happy-happy opinions? interesting post. You know, while at Winstar, a conversation came up about just this topic. None of us are mean spirited or the troll that busts everything. We all have our own opinions about something and I for one think we should express them. You can't please everyone all the time and if you try you lose YOU. I think sometimes the conversations are such that it does seem as if there must be a group consensus and I think the only one of those is that we love ADAM. Belaboring your opinion with repetitive posts that add nothing new can be constructed as only one opinion counts where in reality all our opinions count. I will admit to censoring my own thoughts and sometimes attempting humor to get my point out there, but thats because I know I can come across as stern and dictatorial when that is not what I mean at all. My opinion? Not fond of haircut, but it will grow out, hopefully I've made my statement many times on the beard, should be known by now!! Mad World is a fab song and his interpretation is brilliant. Certainly appropriate for the occision. But.. and I have a big butt, I really really wanted to hear something new! So I was disappointed in the song choice. As always YMMV

Hey...I totally get that some love this look and others, not so much! But trendsetting this is NOT!!! It is everywhere....along with that facial stuff.... It is indeed trendsetting when you do it 6 months before everybody else!

I have zero investment in what he chooses to wear or how he does his hair because - well - his choice. But I agree with the above... And continuing on (and this is my opinion and all - although who's else would it be...) Singing a song that is your song (ie WWFM) over and over = understandable to me. Singers have done that forever. If Bing Crosby were still alive he'd still be singing about White Christmas and Frank would be singing My Way. But singing a cover over and over I just don't get. Doesn't help that I have NEVER liked the song (even if I can appreciate how lovely his voice is singing it). Who knows - maybe they requested he do it. Maybe he just really really likes the song and identifies with it. Maybe it really is a mad world and this is the universe punishing me :-) #carryon

Here's the thing, it is an internet "problem" as I see it. Many people think that every opinion that pops into their head needs to be expressed via their keyboard. Do we do this in real life? I would guess, "Absolutely, no!" My son, my daughters, my friends, my neighbors wear questionable outifts & wear clothes I would never think of wearing all the time. Do I tell them and everyone that can hear me, "What are they thinking?!" Nope, never! You know why? It is their life, their body, their choice. And unless they are hurting themselves or others, what's the point... to let my opinion be known on something that absolutely does not matter and has nothing to do with me??! My love for these people (and Adam) far outweighs my opinion on their innocent choices being expressed to everyone. Every opinion or thought that pops into one's head does not have to be expressed! Thank you to the people who thanked me for me so positive. Guess what? I do it intentionally! LOL!

Hi to everybody. Just wanted to say that imo this place would be boring if all members just flail over everything and have same opinions. it is much more entertaining to read various opinions and i really don't find depressing when people criticize smth. related to Adam. Why it should upset me? anyway I have my own opinion.

And he obviously loves it or he wouldn't keep doing it. It means something to him. He has a history with it. We have to remember also that most people have not heard it 200 times, 50 different ways like we have! He did WWFM at Trevor Live and I would guess since there are many of the same attendees from that, at last night's function, he wanted to do something else he was known for. They probably haven't heard him sing it since Idol & from Idol, that was his signature song.
