Oh, I have honestly, actually dreamed of a duet between Adam & Melissa Ethridge. I love,love, love her! SO EXCITED that the are tweeting (& dm'ing!!!!!!!!!) each other!

Hi to everybody. Just wanted to say that imo this place would be boring if all members just flail over everything and have same opinions. it is much more entertaining to read various opinions and i really don't find depressing when people criticize smth. related to Adam. Why it should upset me? anyway I have my own opinion.  |

Oops! Sorry I caused so much trouble today. It was never my intention to say that we should all be happy happy all the time. I think when comments were made that he was growing facial hair to cover his chin fat and shaving the sides of his head to make himself look thinner, that is what really kind of freaked me out. I realize that fans will nitpick every little thing, but I wouldn't want him to read things like that. Adam looks better than he has ever looked and I think he is just trying to start over again. My opinion is that he really started off on the wrong foot after idol and was putting other things before the voice, but has since learned, probably from being around pros such as Queen and Nile Rodgers, that his voice is what sets him apart from everyone else. It's not his sexuality or his look or his actions on stage, it is the VOICE and I think he gets that now. I think this is the real Adam we are seeing in all his natural glory. He is simply gorgeous to look at and I believe he is just loving the way he looks and feels right now because he is at his best and has learned who he really is. I will say that I always felt that Adam had some growing up to do and now I think we should just celebrate the new Adam and the new directions he will probably be taking with his career. I'm excited for this year because I think Adam has finally found himself and will make better decisions all around for his life and career.  I agree with all you said here. Adam's more confident than ever, and I think being his natural self enhances that feeling. He looks amazing. When I read about "double chin" I wince. On Weibo, many fans refer to that and also whether or not he's "thin". When I translate the comments and see it, their emphasis on that bothers me. They bert like crazy, too. One fan told me that there's a saying that when you love your idol SO much, you can't help criticizing him. There's actually a word for it. They really are very sweet fans in China, so helpful, friendly, and funny. Anyway, I truly love Adam's current look, so I'm glad I'm not feeling the angst that some here seem to feel. |

Various opinions just tend to bring my attention to stuff that I hadn't noticed before, to think about things I'd perhaps not considered before. Then again, flailing is not a mode I think I've ever truly reached, so maybe I just don't understand how painful it is to have it interrupted.  This last performance had me grinning from ear to ear at the end. Wonder if he rehearses that sort of riffing, or if he's just going with the flow on the spur of the moment. Wouldn't he have to give the pianist advance warning?? (chuckle) |
