The watercolor by mira miraculous is stunning. I am in awe of all the incredible art I have seen over the years of Adam, the talent amongst his fans is unbelievable. Would love to have an art show featuring these works.

WELCOME to today's delurkers! Lifeguard - great to see you posting! The interesting thing to me it the process behind a song choice...how does it happen? What goes into it? In a promotion appearance it is clear. In the case like the last night's event it is not clear at all. Could it be by request from the organizers? Could it be something the person playing the piano was familiar with and they could do it after a few mins long rehearsal? IDK... In the end it really doesn't matter to anyone but us, the hard core, heavily invested BSC fans... the attendees clearly enjoyed the song! Oh I think very clear why at this event. His Idol performance of Mad World was THE song for those kids who felt disenfranchised or different. It cemented for them his role as a LBGTQ activist whether he was willing to take on the mantle at that time or not. Folks at places like ONTD (Oh no they didn't) were all over that song and you could see posts in various places for a long time over how that song, as he sung it, made them feel accepted. For an equality event he chose the song for the event because the performance was not about him but about the cause. I think Outlaws of Love would have fit too but since he's spiced it up to make it more hopeful it could be harder for him to do without the band.

Hope this is OK to post here. One of the male figure skaters at the Olympics, Paul Parkinson from Italy, skated to a symphonic version of the music of Queen. I really loved it and went and downloaded the symphony. Just wanted to share in case someone else might also love it.

Oops! Sorry I caused so much trouble today. It was never my intention to say that we should all be happy happy all the time. I think when comments were made that he was growing facial hair to cover his chin fat and shaving the sides of his head to make himself look thinner, that is what really kind of freaked me out. I realize that fans will nitpick every little thing, but I wouldn't want him to read things like that. Adam looks better than he has ever looked and I think he is just trying to start over again. My opinion is that he really started off on the wrong foot after idol and was putting other things before the voice, but has since learned, probably from being around pros such as Queen and Nile Rodgers, that his voice is what sets him apart from everyone else. It's not his sexuality or his look or his actions on stage, it is the VOICE and I think he gets that now. I think this is the real Adam we are seeing in all his natural glory. He is simply gorgeous to look at and I believe he is just loving the way he looks and feels right now because he is at his best and has learned who he really is. I will say that I always felt that Adam had some growing up to do and now I think we should just celebrate the new Adam and the new directions he will probably be taking with his career. I'm excited for this year because I think Adam has finally found himself and will make better decisions all around for his life and career. I think people say things like that because Adam thinks he looks fat himself. He seems to be self conscious about this. Therefore, some of his choices might be to try and look thinner. I don't think any of us think he is fat. Everyone who sees him says he's even skinnier in real life.

Oh wow!! Adam Lambert and Melissa Etheridge communicating. A collab would be just better than good. Melissa is an INCREDIBLE live performer, with or without her band. the first time I saw her live, it was JUST her. OMG, she filled that center with her amazing sound. She played piano, twelve string guitar, 6 six string, and god knows what else. Her voice is so amazing, so strong.
I would just be over the moon for the two of them to something together.

Someone mentioned Neil playing the piano. There used to be a couple of utube videos of him playing full songs and he is quite good. I looked but I can't find them anymore.
