Musings: It's so apparent that Adam needs his own weekly TV show... I believe something BIG is going to happen for Adam and very soon...
loved by so many,.and not just by his loyal fans.. In my estimation,Adam is becoming an American fixture,assuring him of
longevity.It's that he's got 'IT' quality.. and this without even taking his gorgeous voice into account.
Everybody seems to pale in comparison and It's not just his height...LOL

Won't be able to see this episode here for another three weeks but was wondering if this YouTube is all that was broadcast with Adam in it. Was there any intro to Adam and Chris being there or recaps of what they had been doing lately? Thought he looked amazing and will win lots of new fans and remind a few older ones... |

Perhaps no one will agree with me but I was really disturbed by Keith's comments tonight, especially to Emily. She gave a stellar performance, she has some of the best vocals of the group, her stage presence is excellent, for him to say she hid behind the song is crazy, she was right to practice in a mirror; that doesn't mean she isn't being true to the artist that she is. It's a bit short sighted of the judges to pigeon hole her and expect her to perform again like she did in Hollywood week at the piano; she appears to love pop/rock. Harry treated her terribly, she explained in her interview to Randy that the song was empowering to women and that's why she chose it. I think Keith doesn't like Adam at all, I noticed that last year. I think Harry has a particular style of voice that he likes, and it doesn't seem to be runs or multi-range notes. I'm just discouraged, I was really excited for Harry on Idol. I agree with the comments that it's good to have constructive criticism; I'm just not sure that Harry's is really that constructive or objective, more subjective in my opinion. Sad sigh. Adam was great though and I loved Jena's comment about his beauty. I'm not sure there will ever be many objective comments for a singing competition other than singing in tune or out of tune or messing up lyrics. There is even disagreement on whether someone has sung in tune. It's the nature of the arts--subjectivity. |

As always, I enjoy reading the varied opinions about the show last night. One I think we can agree on is that Adam did great and we would like to have seen more of him. For those who didn't see it, I'd recommend the video that was posted on this thread. He wasn't really on much, but it was all good.
