The 'Happy' hitmaker is due to release his new solo album 'G I R L' on March 3 in the UK and he recently previewed it in the US online. The record features collaborations with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Daft Punk and it seems to have gone down well. This especially seems the case with 'Trespassing' icon Adam Lambert, who tweeted: "Previewing @pharrell's new album on iTunes Radio. Holy sh*t this is fresh." Lambert meanwhile starred this week on a new Glee episode which saw the singer take on The Darkness' 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love'. |

For 5 years I've been longing to hear Adam sing GnR's Sweet Child of Mine. I've even imagined him singing it in my sleep...Those lyrics, those notes, those highs, those lows! Adam's voice was made to sing that song. Even when he was on Idol I was hoping he would pick that song to sing on the show. That is an excellent choice! On Glee I want him to cover a current song. I'm sticking with LMD -- I think he can nail that vocal.  On my dream "Adam covers the greatest hits just for my friend Q3" album, I would like to hear him cover... Nirvana - “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (but the Baz Luhrmanm version) Led Zeppelin - "Stairway To Heaven" [someday he will sing this!] Some real blues songs.... And every power ballad ever written....including but not limited to..... Guns n' Roses - "November Rain" Prince/Sinéad O'Connor - "Nothing Compares 2 U" Nazareth - "Love Hurts" Great choices Q3 and lorraine - but my "secret" song wish goes way back to 1965 .. ( I actually don't remember the original release, but know this song from the movie Ghosts) .... I would really like to see/hear Adam perform UNCHAINED MELODY ... I don't know if it's been done before on Glee .. |

I would like Adam to keep using the "Glee" platform to further improve the likelihood of his having future Top 40 radio hits. I think he does this by singing recent top 40 hits that sound like "him," that is: a little edgier, gritty, male Pink-ish. I'd love Fall Out Boys' "Light-em Up," for example, or Maroon 5's " One More Night" ("You and I go hard at each other, like we're going to war . . . "), with Adam Levine making a cameo appearance as a guy in the club with his date (his super- model girlfriend), who turns to her and says, "I don't know who sang that originally, but his cover is better."
