I would love him to sing some classic or alternative/ progressive rock songs with lots of emotion. Or haunting ballads... *sigh* Kansas "Dust in the wind" Peter Gabriel "Don't give up" Yes "Owner of a lonely heart" Genesis "Carpet Crawler" Muse "Supermassive Black hole" . . . . A girl can dream... Ahem .... Might be able to deliver one already: Not on Glee obviously, but still, already covered Thanks for posting this vid! I hadn't seen it for some time! His breath control in this performance is amazing? That run starting at 1:40 or so just goes on and on......people started applauding and he just kept on going....lovely song....thanks again!

I seriously doubt he can... JMHO :( Maybe we should tell Adam that. It will probably seriously raise the chance that he is at least going to try. I agree btw I maintain Adam can sing most anything, but I may have to make that an exception. It is for a HIGH soprano. Now, if you transpose it into a high tenor version, it might be do-able. His voice type is perhaps the only male type that could handle all those ornamental runs so quickly and lightly. I support your vision, Hoppers, but I would prefer a TENOR aria. Don't want him to be thought of as "girlie."

That is an excellent choice! On Glee I want him to cover a current song. I'm sticking with LMD -- I think he can nail that vocal. On my dream "Adam covers the greatest hits just for my friend Q3" album, I would like to hear him cover... Nirvana - “Smells Like Teen Spirit” (but the Baz Luhrmanm version) Led Zeppelin - "Stairway To Heaven" [someday he will sing this!] Some real blues songs.... And every power ballad ever written....including but not limited to..... Guns n' Roses - "November Rain" Prince/Sinéad O'Connor - "Nothing Compares 2 U" Nazareth - "Love Hurts" Great choices Q3 and lorraine - but my "secret" song wish goes way back to 1965 .. ( I actually don't remember the original release, but know this song from the movie Ghosts) .... I would really like to see/hear Adam perform UNCHAINED MELODY ... I don't know if it's been done before on Glee .. I've written here before about my love for The Righteous Brothers so won't repeat but yes, yes, YES to Unchained Melody and You've Lost That Loving Feeling (my all time fave)!! Adam can sing both Bobby Hatfield's gorgeous high range and Bill Medley's parts, just not so deep down.....oh.....my heart flutters just thinking about hearing him sing these songs!!

Here's a playlist for the Glee video if you'd like to run it when you can't be near the computer to do your individual clicks. Yes, about 10-20% of the plays will count. Better than nothing, right? t.co/dvtf1KMxQ7

Here are a few of my song choices for Adam:
If opera - "Che gelida manina", La Boheme If musical theater - "Heaven on their minds", Jesus Christ Superstar Other - "Dust in the wind"
Also I'm always impressed with his duets, especially with female singers - for example, "Titanium" with AI's Angie Miller which might not have been his first choice of a song, but it was such a subtle and sublime performance where he didn't overpower her but gave her the spotlight. Still hoping he can collaborate with k.d. Lang at some point.
And then, Adam continues to surprise and delight me with the eclectic variety of his musical choices - never thought I'd hear him sing Reggae, but I loved it. Always looking forward to the next thing with Adam - he's never boring, that's for sure.

There's a song in the top ten now, going up still I think, called "Pompeii" by a British band called Bastille. I'd never heard of them before but I really hope Adam can sing a song like that, that's hot right now. I think Adam could really "Adamize" it(and it has a pretty unique chorus part - I don't know how to describe it - it might be opera-like, but it's not the part the lead singer sings, and it's deep voices, not high).

The song I would DIE to hear Adam sing is "Bring Him Home." So, how to fit that into the fluff and pop that is Glee? Especially because Rachel and Kurt already sang it on Glee? Hmmm. Maybe Elliott has a huge audition for a Broadway role and Kurt/Rachel suggest that they had great success with the song, and Elliot should try it. To show that he is more than a big voiced rock singer. I agree with you, "Bring Him Home" would be a great choice! I also like "Hallelujah" which bridgeymah suggested. Of course, all the Queen's songs would be suitable! And my secret wish is, of course, Adam's own song: RUNNIN'
