I live 45 minutes from MSG but am going to be down south in Myrtle Beach late June thru July. I'm crossing my fingers that the MSG (or Philly?) gigs will be earlier or later than that! I don't suppose Queen would book the HardRock in Myrtle Beach? ...no? Damn!...hehe Oh, don't you wish they would play a small venue like the HardRock! If the 16 cities is right, that means that they are likely to play... Just for fun..... Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, DC, Miami, Columbus (OH), Rosemont (Chicago), Dallas, LA, San Jose, Auburn Hills (Detroit), Toronto, Saint Paul, Montreal plus 2 more cities. Maybe Portland (OR) and Denver? ETA: Regarding the Queen + Adam Tour, the contest winner will be picked after the announcement when we really know what is happening. I do not believe anyone guessed close to 16 cities! It is far more than I expected. But looks like I got the US and Canada part!  ETA 2: I just read that info from Virg. 16 dates may not be 16 cities! I think they may do 2 dates in NYC, 2 dates in LA and 2 dates in Toronto area. That would mean 13 cities. |

Is this true?!!!!! OMG!!! Maybe I will get to see the show!!!!!!
 Well, looks like I underestimated the number of concerts in the 3 part QAL concert guessing contest. But yea!!! 16 concerts!!! And so far hints of concerts in NYC (because announcement is at the MSG) and TX (per Brian's tweet). Any other location hints? |

Last time that I tried to organize a bus trip is quite a while ago, but as best I know, and to give you some first idea, on whether to even pursue this idea further or not:
A typical coach / charter bus rental (50 + seats) runs around $ 1200 per day. That is without parking, hotel fees, costs for driver lodging, and a lot of other extras, but I do believe this price includes gas. So, let's say, it is about $ 3,000 for 2 days, then at 50 seats, that is only $60 per person.
For not having to deal with parking and driving and everything else, that may be a really good option for certain cities that can get this many people together. Also, when you try to book 50 people at once at a hotel, you can negotiate pretty darn good rates.
ETA: just read Q3's post. Nobody guessed close to 16? WUT? Are you hoping somebody guessed 15.9 or something? How do you define close?

Kinda liking this Magical Mystery Tour Bus Idea myself. Could we do a kickstarter??? We deserve it, right? Here we could rent a bus like this: And people could follow the bus in their vans:    I wanna go in a trippy bus..I had a VW in the 60's but it was all yellow. I missed a vital part of my cultural heritage not having a bus like these. Let's make it happen!!! Kickstarter!!! |

40 feet isn't gonna get you very far, bb...I seem to be lolling at your posts. Sorry, you're funny..can't help myself.. lol, that might be more true than I would like to admit. Haven't driven in 2 years!  a typical 40 foot floor plan I'm forgiven then??  My bro has one similar to this and they are VERY cushy..hotel on wheels. Who's doing room service? |

Booo you guys...why do you keep assuming that Vancouver won't get a show....we have showed him lots of love and is a very cosmopolitan city. Also...I would guess Montreal and Toronto rather than two in Toronto. Montreal has also been good to him...I think his largest audience without Queen but not certain on that....I am thinking the Balloon festival which was pulling on the Montreal population, albeit the show was not strictly not in Montreal.  |

I will learn....I have driven the Top of the World highway from Dawson City to Fairbanks AK with TWO full size carriers on top of a Mustang II...overhanging the top....If I can do that, I don't see that a 40 foot should be so bad. as long as I never have to back up or parallel park..then all bets are off hahaha |
