So, they would need a slightly bigger plane than a Boeing 747-400 freighter to haul all of the QAL concert equipment. Plus a passenger plane for the 6 on stage people, plus how many support people? Sounds really expensive!

Most US-Canada Tours use trucks and buses. Some major stars fly between shows. But when a tour moves across an ocean Europe to North America or over to Asia Pacific for example or has to move a long distance quickly -- LA to Minnesota for example or up to Montreal -- then they ship by air.

Shipping by air is usually avoided between tour stops because you have to also have trucks to get the equipment and staging from the plan to the venue. It adds a load and an unload to the schedule.

Even Gaga's tour used buses and a fleet of trucks. The trucks drive right up to the loading dock at the arena and are unloaded.

Reading the end of last nights thread I think there is a need for "Glambert Travel". Booking rooms and arranging travel in a block could allow for a possibility of more than one show.

I would love for Queen+Adam Lambert to offer a live stream for all sold out shows. It could be done for a nominal fee with any proceeds benefiting charity. A Live DVD is a must.

Any guesses of how the announcement and tour fit in a time line with Adam 3?
