I've now listened to all 4 songs. Barracuda is my favorite. Listening to these it is very apparent that Adam is in a league of his own. His singing is far superior!

I'll take my fix any way I can get it. Barracuda will keep me goin' for a while. The lamenting moan at 2:40 (phew!) and trademark c'mon at 2:55 make me smile.

To be fair to iridium, I wrote an unclear post that I fixed that was wrong -- that included it was no Brian's "official website" -- rather than Brian does not know what is posted on that site and does not read it. I ineptly was trying to say "This is not posted by Brian and should not be taken as a confirmation." Oh I did not mean to slight iridium if I did! I was just making sure it was clear that there really is never anything to look into as regards to Jen putting something on Brian's site. And that's the exception I guess  When Brian has clarified or refuted a claim, than Jen will usually follow suit. Oh once again let me say that I never believe anything until it has been officially announced. In this case I 99.9999% believe a 2014 Queen + Adam Lambert North American Tour is real. The only thing I'm off about is this Thursday MSG announcement. Still no comment from anyone. On the other hand, this has more smoke than the usual rumor given the initial source...so I'd place it at about 50/50. BUT because like Q3 says, we've been through this so many times, I am prone to a bit of cynicism and pessimism about things |

Could it be that those SC and YT recordings of Glee songs aren't proper (in a sense that they will sound differently on the show) versions, since, if I remember correctly, which I often don't, we first got some shitty sc version of IBIATCL,and then we got the right, mind-blowingly fabulous one? Just asking.(I might be hallucinating, I haven't left the apt. all day).
But proper versions or not, I liked them, esp. Barracuda and the girl's voice, is that Demi, fits well with Adam's, I think.

Looked up fashions by KTZ.. they throw everything but the kitchen sink into each outfit.. Just NO I don't know too much about KTZ fashion. But I loved Adam's KTZ outfit on VH1 Divas 2012:  |

I'm probably going to get banned from this forum for this but I was disappointed in the Glee songs. I LOVED Adam's voice on Barracuda but I didn't think he and Lea sounded that good together; I don't think she sounds good on rock at all. I really disliked the Happening, everything about it. I was really looking forward to Gloria but just didn't feel this version, too rushed. I wanted to hear Adam wail and have more power in his voice. That said I'm still looking forward to Glee on Tuesday. I totes argree, bean. Though I love Lea's voice, it doesn't have enough edge to carry the song. Even the sounds she made throughout the song, especially the ow-oo in the middle, don't sound convincing. Song would have been better with Demi/Dani. (Where's Alison Iraheta when you need her?  ) Still it does magnifies how great Adam is at singing in this, and really any, genre and how it's not easy to do so convincingly, so I'm good with that. The extremely cruel Rolling Stone review of Lea's album says basically the same thing (well, too Broadway for pop in that case). Thought it was way too unfair and dismissive though. No one deserves one and a half stars (unless the album is full of misognistic and homophobic lyrics--in which case those usually are praised to the heavens) |

Love love love Gloria
Really like Hold On and The Happening.
Totally disappointed in Barracuda. Too softened - losses the drive of the beat for me. Bummer.
Will be interesting to see them all in context to the story line.

Is Adam "oo - ooing" sometimes in the background of "The Happening" when he is not singing his part? If so, that strikes me as funny and . . . endearing - he plays so nicely with others! (Remember the Idol disco group Dance? such a willing spirit.)

The bottom line for me - I want Adam solo, no duets, no ensembles... these just take precious time away from hearing his voice...
