I'm probably going to get banned from this forum for this but I was disappointed in the Glee songs. I LOVED Adam's voice on Barracuda but I didn't think he and Lea sounded that good together; I don't think she sounds good on rock at all. I really disliked the Happening, everything about it. I was really looking forward to Gloria but just didn't feel this version, too rushed. I wanted to hear Adam wail and have more power in his voice. That said I'm still looking forward to Glee on Tuesday. I don't know why you'd get banned. I thought the exact same thing. It's okay not to like something. Why would you think that would get you banned? I happen to agree for the most part. Here is my evaluation.... The Happening - Adam looks good in the photos on stage with Demi and Chris/Kurt. This song was stupid in the 60's. It will be quickly forgotten because it is forgettable. Gloria - Adam sounds good on this. But the produced all the emotion out of this song. And it should be a solo. The Glee trio of lead singers is odd. Hold On - This is a Glee cast performance -- glad Adam is on it. But it is just a small bit.
Barracuda - This suits Adam and fits him like a glove. I think Ann Wilson would approve of Adam singing it. Now if they put in a powerful lead guitar into the break, and moved Lea to back-up harmonies with Adam on the lead vocal, and got rid of Lea's silly "rock howl". I like Lea but Lea singing a rock power ballad -, um no girl, you are not Ann Wilson.

>> Since Barracuda is about Ann being really agree with her label, I think it would be cool if Adam did it in concert and dedicated it to RCA.

ETA Better add a disclaimer, I have listened to the song only once and that was before I saw the text above. >>> No idea how accurate it is.

I don't know where Adam's part is in Hold On, can't hear it. same here...trying not to be too greedy though... I can here him in the other three songs - grateful for that! Oh yeah, I'm not complaining! Just curious...  |
