I LOOOOOVE The Happening. I can't tell you how much I love it. BB Chris is getting outsung by Demi and Adam, bless him. But everything! Demi sounds amazing, the background Oo-Oos, Adam's ridiculously ostentious opening note on his section - So good!  |

IKR? Someone needs to teach her to let go and "scream".  It probably would take teaching. When you have a voice like hers, the last thing you'd want to do is "scream." That could really hurt the cords. Adam apparently knows how to do it without wrecking the vocal cords. She probably doesn't. |

I'm probably going to get banned from this forum for this but I was disappointed in the Glee songs. I LOVED Adam's voice on Barracuda but I didn't think he and Lea sounded that good together; I don't think she sounds good on rock at all. I really disliked the Happening, everything about it. I was really looking forward to Gloria but just didn't feel this version, too rushed. I wanted to hear Adam wail and have more power in his voice. That said I'm still looking forward to Glee on Tuesday.
I think on the Frenemies interview, Chris/Kurt said they very rarely have rock songs on Glee maybe because all these Glee singers they're not rockers. I am pretty sure Ryan Murphy put these rock songs last week and this week because of Adam. When you're listening to the Darkness song last week and Barracuda, you can hear it clearly which one of the singers that has that rocker sound. Hence their viewer are not all rock fans. I think Barracuda still sounds rock but they have to also make it acceptable to their viewer, which are Glee fans. The happening song's definitely has a Broadway touch. Gloria and Hold On? Well they're as good as you can get. I love that Adam get to sing a lot this week.

Interesting read ....adding, I have seen Heart many times and hearing Adam sing this just renews my great desire to have Ann Wilson and Adam duet. No holding back necessary for Adam with a partner like AW !  |
