I've now listened to all 4 songs. Barracuda is my favorite. Listening to these it is very apparent that Adam is in a league of his own. His singing is far superior!

I'm probably going to get banned from this forum for this but I was disappointed in the Glee songs. I LOVED Adam's voice on Barracuda but I didn't think he and Lea sounded that good together; I don't think she sounds good on rock at all. I really disliked the Happening, everything about it. I was really looking forward to Gloria but just didn't feel this version, too rushed. I wanted to hear Adam wail and have more power in his voice. That said I'm still looking forward to Glee on Tuesday.
I think on the Frenemies interview, Chris/Kurt said they very rarely have rock songs on Glee maybe because all these Glee singers they're not rocker. I am pretty sure Ryan Murphy put these rock songs last week and this week because of Adam. When you're listening to the Darkness song last week and Barracuda, you can hear it clearly which one of the singer that has that rocker sound.
And it really shows off Adam's versatility that he can adapt his voice between the styles of Barracuda and The Happening. |

He's certainly hard to hide in a crowd... The Happening is cute and sweet. Barracuda has some grunt but Adam out rocks Lea by a country mile - girl needs to learn to put some grit in her voice but I'm sure is harder to do than we might imagine (baby wolf comment earlier LOL). Gloria and Hold are are meh but love the way Adam plays nice with a crowd. Off to relisten. |

Adam needs to sing ALONE !!!!! enough duets, and all I wanted at one time was for Adam to have duet partners ,Ha Learned my lesson...LOL. He does a great job on Barracuda.. Lea not so much .The other songs, like some others have already said, meh. I'm now kind of Glad Adam only has two more Glee shows...  .. IMHO His voice is beyond anything the cast could ever even dream of having. |
