What I do not understand is why Glee picks such old songs: 1967 The Happening 1977 Barracuda 1982 Gloria 1990 Hold On I think we will get a 6th Glee episode with Adam -- and that give Glee one more chance to give him a current song. Here's hoping. Q3, Weren't there some tweets with Shoshanna answering a fan the other day that indicated that Adam had a total of 5 Glee episodes? Or perhaps you are thinking that despite that, some day Glee will have him come back and give him a current song to sing. peace&love |

OT but not really since he is a friend of Adam and fellow gorgeous being - Jared Leto just gave a lovely acceptance speech for his Oscar win

Looking forward to watching all Glee songs performed on the show. I'm happy for Lea that she finally got to sing with Adam...she's wanted it for so long. To be honest, I don't really notice her voice I'm so focused on Adam's. She's almost like a backup singer to me...just there. He creates such unique sounds throughout the song that I'm mesmerized by his voice.
The Happening, IMO, is a Pamela Lansbury performance so Kurt would naturally have the lead. WOW Demi Lavato's voice is amazing. Would love to hear Adam and Demi in a real duet. The sound would be spectacular!
Gloria is the girls song with Adam along for the ride.
Hold On is like Roar...everybody sings...Adam will just look pretty...haha.
One benefit of the duets...IMO...is that anyone who may have been concerned about a duet with Adam...and being blown away...can see how generous he is with others...and can blend with anyone.

It looks like I'm in the minority perhaps. I really have no desire to hear Adam duet with anyone. I like Adam pure, unadulterated. No cream or sugar. Of course, I'll take him any way I can get new music. But when I hear him singing with someone else I want to shout out to the other person to shut up!
Love Barracuda, the others meh. Of course will love seeing him sing, his moves and expressions!
Glee is obviously not geared toward my demographic. I did get hooked on Pretty Little Liars but that is just not happening with Glee. Does anyone else get a distasteful feeling when Becky makes off color remarks?
Thursday is tomorrow, right? Has anyone official confirmed this?

So, I think, at this point, every song from "Trio" has been very liked AND very not liked by at least one poster. Sounds right  Am I the curmudgeon today? I try to be good. Just don't put Adam and Demi together and give them a song where they sing and start doing movements ala Diana Ross and the Supremes..  Such a dated song...you have to wonder if Adam and Demi didn't have an eyeroll on that choice, even tho they are consummate pros and I know Adam is having fun on Glee. Haven't heard Demi talk about Glee much. My sadness on this one is that this might have been our only shot at a duet from these two.  (Even tho it was a trio, I guess). Awful song choice for 2 powerhouse vocalists. Glee is known for its group singalongs, so I didn't comment on those. #saved Barracuda is a dear, favorite song of mine and Adam led that song. I think Lea has a great voice, just not a rocker voice. But she and Adam must have had such a good time together singing it. It's one of her favorite female rock songs and she wanted to sing with Adam. I know it'll translate well on TV. Adam gave it the raw depth it needed IMO. Without him, no way that song would have come off as well as it did. Has everyone really liked all these songs from Trio? Gotta go back and read. I know Glee is an ensemble cast. I know Adam will not get solos each time. He might have had MTN and that will be it. That's how ensembles work. I have, tho, a thing about how much of Glee's music in general gets blended into generic goop.  Still think Trio will be enjoyable to watch. ETA: And Bridget, bb..I didn't think you were snarking at me. I had been gone awhile and I just wanted to check and see if perhaps I was the only one who didn't just luv all the Trio songs. #coveringbases #nonapsafterpostingopinions  |

I am really thrilled to hear Barracuda - however, I agree with you, Q3, that the Glee band and arrangement don't do the song justice - but Adam definitely carries the song and owns it here. And I also agree with you, Sagittarius, that I would absolutely love to hear a duet with Ann Wilson and Adam - with no holding back! Two incredibly talented vocal power houses - Wow!! Wouldn't that be a trip ?  
At the Western Washington Fairgrounds show (also where Adam ended his GNT tour ) a lot of the audience were "biker' guys and when the Wilson's started Barracuda there was a deafening roar !!!! Around 10,000 in the stands and ground.

Elliot singing Adam ... I still haven't given up on that. |

Always liked him, but now I like him little more. Btw. Matthew McConaughey wife is really a beautiful woman. About Adam and Glee songs - I have nothing against duets but there is something in those Glee songs that making me feel just meh. Too much Glee, too little Adam. |
