OT but not really since he is a friend of Adam and fellow gorgeous being - Jared Leto just gave a lovely acceptance speech for his Oscar win I was really impressed by his speech. Always liked him, but now I like him little more. Btw. Matthew McConaughey wife is really a beautiful woman. About Adam and Glee songs - I have nothing against duets but there is something in those Glee songs that making me feel just meh. Too much Glee, too little Adam. nonchallance ...LOVE YOUR AVI!! |

The Happening is my favorite! I love the whole big band jazzy vibe. Classic Glee too. Listening to the song makes me feel physically better, which at this point in time is something I am needing. Barracuda put me on edge...could not even make it through the whole song. But I have never been a fan of Heart and pretty much detest the song to begin with. Gloria was pretty good too, but a bit long. I think I will love it with visuals though. I really could not hear Adam on Hold On, but enjoyed the song. I am still the most pleased that Adam sang MTN!!!!!! The Happening is my favorite of the Trio episode songs too! It makes me want to get up and dance Foxtrot, my favorite ballroom dance!!! It makes my feel happy!!! And of the 4 Trio songs leaked, it is the one that best fits ALL of the singers who are singing the song, i.e., no one seems out of place singing the song. I like Gloria too. I have fond memories of dancing to that song in a dancercise class shortly after the song came out. The only other song I remember from that class is She Works Hard For The Money by Donna Summers. I'd love for Adam to sing more Donna Summers songs, especially MacArthur Park! Adam really sounds great on Barracuda. But the song itself just does nothing for me. I know the lyrics are supposed to be about Ann's problems with her label, but they just don't make much sense to me. Also, I really loved IBIATCL last week. I think the Adam/Chris combination works better than the Adam/Lea combination on a rock song. I would love to hear Adam and Lea on a power house theatrical song. But, yes I agree, MTN is the absolutely best Glee song with Adam vocals!!! |

Good grief, I feel like I'm watching The Oscars through Adam Lambert glasses - oh, there's Ellen (she really likes Adam), there's Pharell (producer, co-writer of some of Adam's songs), there's Jared Leto (photographed with Adam and only man to rival him in looks IMO) and there Angela (Pamela) Lansbury!
ETA: oh, there's U2 (Adam sang their song "One") on Idol final.

Gonna strangle that groundhog. 5-9" snow due tomorrow. Schools already closed. That said, we've got pizza, beer, and Internet. So life ain't that bad.   So funny to have the inclusion of beer with school closure. Survival mode....with the kids at home! Best Wishes Hoppers! Agree.....Jared Leto 's speech truly was well thought out/heart warming/tear worthy...for me. Happy for him! I am so happy for this great Glee opportunity .....woweeeeee! WIN.....WIN.....WIN no downsides that I see. ....so many sides of Adam showcased to so many....the viewers, the Glee production team members, industry people. The networking has to be priceless ....benefits will come as he is showcased in so many forms: ....Adam the singer, Adam the actor, Adam as a member of the team, Adam the initiator, Adam as Elliott, Adam as Starchild....lots of faces and facets being shown. |
