Brian Cantor @cantorpedia 2m It's also amazing how @adamlambert can steal the show despite being very restrained in all of his performances. #Glee

I am not into Glee, but, for those who are, do people really like the Rachel character? She seems like a self-centered, narcissistic bitch who thinks the world revolves around her. Is this just for the current story line? I think it is just her current story line. When they were in HS, I think Santana was the real bitchy one. Your choice of adjectives Cassie could not have been more accurate. I found her hard to like. In the seasons I watched ...Rachel has always been self- centered. Not as explosively bitchy as now.. just exasperatingly...totally self -centered.

That Glee episode was so much fun - well, the NYC part anyway. I keep playing Barracuda and Gloria (which has wormed its way into my head). Happy to see it getting good press, and cannot wait to see what the big announcement will be. Chapf - the beanie smilies are so cute!! He did look scrumdillyishous tonight - especially in the cafe. Gotta get some sleep. Moving forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Rachel character has always been pretty self-centered, entitled, ambitious, and driven. She was always fighting for the best solos in the Glee club and would be pretty outraged if someone else got a part that she thought should be hers. She knew she was good, and wanted everyone else to know it, too.

OMG....I have got to STOP watching the videos and get some sleep!! So much fun today. Adam always amazes me with the depth of his talent....he is doing amazing work on Glee. You think Glee will be broken (like Idol) after Adam's last episode? Nite!

You think Glee will be broken (like Idol) after Adam's last episode? Nite! I think it might have been a bit broken before Adam joined. But, definitely after he is gone! I did like the idea I posted from one article, which is to give Adam a spin-off series from NYC Glee. Spin-offs are very popular on US TV. I can definitely see Adam starring in his own drama/comedy series! Of course, he might have trouble fitting in shooting with Queen tours, A3 and his next solo headlining tour. But, he is young and full of energy. He could schedule it, don't you think?

Ahh I guess I have a limited idea of what vibrato is.. it's more subtle than what I was thinking. I can relate to all the qualities of his voice you describe, which I also naturally respond to.. Vibrato is a slight oscillation in the pitch of a note. Vibrato gets a "bad rap." We have all heard singers who have such a wide vibrato that it sounds like the voice is wobbling drunkenly on a note. Or singers whose vibrato is so fast that they sound a bit like a bleating goat. Done correctly, it warms up the tone and adds depth. Adam uses vibrato very effectively and in the proper style for the genre he is singing. Here is a demonstration of vibrato. Hope it helps. Thanks Cassie! So it seems that it's the nature of singing to always have vibrato.. in varying degrees.

In the seasons I watched ...Rachel has always been self- centered. Not as explosively bitchy as now.. just exasperatingly...totally self -centered. Racheal has always been a pain in the ass character with a great voice. And Santana has always been hard, bitchy and downright mean. Glee is satire. And if you are unsure about this, check out Sue. Or Emma. Seriously. I do not believe this show or its characters were ever meant to be taken seriously. However, underneath the satire of how awful high school is, the show does deal with some touchy modern subjects like bullying, LBGTQ lifestyle challenges, mentally challenged individuals, severe OCD (Emma), teen pregnancy (Quinn). Oh, and the SINGING. The singing makes it all completely and appropriately cheesy. And Santana's legs. Love that girl's legs. And now Adam. There's a reason to stayed tuned.
