I called Ticketmaster tonight and thought this was interesting: I've been trying to get tickets for my RL friends (who aren't "techy") for the San Jose show - they wanted the cheapest tickets only ($49 inc fees) and would not spring for more. I've tried the fan club, Amex and today the Facebook and never got one of that price level to come up - kept telling me Sorry but we have these $66 ones for you, and the $66 were up in the high sections. When I got thru on the phone finally, I asked if there actually were ever any $49 tickets - she put me on hold and when she came back she said Yes, but they were not released yet - they would only be released on the general sale Saturday. Also, she couldn't tell me how many were actually at that price point or what sections. Interesting..........now I'm doubting I'll be able to get ANY of those Saturday - my friends want 6 seats. I wonder if they offer a very few at that price point in the last row or 2 so that the range of ticket prices looks broader ???? Since my friends don't think this is worth springing $66 for, may be their loss.....oh well. I have my VIP and I'm happy lol  |

A friend commented under, my exuberantly joyous comment about my luck at getting tickets to Queen +Adam, on facebook with,"really are they worth spending 145$ for". I said if you have to ask, then maybe not for you. I paid a LOT more than that and to me its worth it. I explained that it was different for everyone and really a matter of personal taste. I paid heaps to see PINK and loved every minute of it. And I like Adam waaayyy more than PINK. Hence, there will be no new car for me this year. hahahah  |

I wonder if TM is down or updating b/c all these presales are still going on & it shows "Tickets NOT available online". I can't access their system.

I have a perfectly good VIP seat for LA, but I keep thinking about upgrading to a Floor seat! Am I crazy or what? Wonder if TM will release any more seats tomorrow? Have all the VIP Platinum seats been released?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I think it's like the presale - at 10AM in local time zone for whatever city you want.

What time do the tickets for the general public go on sale tomorrow? Some venues have their public sale on Saturday. Q3 has them listed somewhere. |

San Jose and LA general sales are also March 15th. peace&love The TV ad for Detroit also says saturday. ETA From the first page of this thread, March 15 for Chicago, San Jose, LA and Philadelphia. Two to add there are New York City and Detroit. Quoting myself from yesterday, the first page had only the four marked for saturday start, several where info was missing at the time the post was made. At least the two above mentioned cities start on saturday as well, maybe there are more, IDK. You can check the start date from Ticketmaster page of your preferred concert. (I would have checked for you, sugaree, but you didn't mention the city...) ETA Dallas also starts general sales on saturday. (Montreal doesn't show that info as yet.) |
