Well, first, HELLO EVERYONE!!!! How are you guys??? I hope everyone is ok with all of you!!! So, I MAY try to go to the US for a Queenbert concert. It's a very big MAYBE at this point, even though the pre-sale starts tomorrow. And I'm totally freaking out here. I have NO IDEA where to start planning this thing. See, I have an AMEX. But I don't think I can access Ticketmaster's pre-sale thing with it, since my AMEX was issued here in Spain. I called, and the person who spoke to me didn't sound very sure, but she thinks I can't. That's my first freak out, because I can't access the pre-sale at all, my AMEX was my only hope of buying tomorrow. My boyfriend wants to try to go to LA, and I'd love to go there, but... Will it be easy to get good tickets? Is it a good venue, with good sound? What would be the easiest venue for someone who's buying from Spain? I'M A MESS!!!! BigCryHelp, please?

I like Brian May's answer to the question, "why this, why now?" Because Roger needs the money!
They are all good people and just want to make kick-ass music together.

I have another question. How does the pre-sale work? They won't release ALL the good tickets for the pre-sale, right? I mean, if I can't access the pre-sale, that won't mean I will end up with crappy tickets... right? LOL *Freaking out* Please tell me I won't end up with crappy tickets. LOL

At the same time, the cynical side of me feels that if Adam #3 tanks, than there will be a Queen album. If it doesn't tank, than it's less likely. You mean a Queen album with Adam? A reporter asked about the possibility and, basically, Brian said something like, "who knows?" Is that right? Was there more said/ implied that I didn't get? What is "cynical" about your opinion? I don't understand. Would you like to see a Queen/Adam album? I didn't get from Brian's response that he meant much more than, basically, who really ever knows what the future holds? I also don't understand your comment that Adam "has" to seem focused on A3. Does that mean you don't think he is or isn't far along . . . ? You've left me confused this morning. I'm gonna get my second cup of coffee.

You mean a Queen album with Adam? A reporter asked about the possibility and, basically, Brian said something like, "who knows?" Is that right? Was there more said/ implied that I didn't get? What is "cynical" about your opinion? I don't understand. Yes I mean a Queen + Adam album. A reporter asked the question of a QAL album and Brian and Roger both gave very open ended "we'll see" type comments, while Adam definitely seemed to be more hesitant about the idea because fairly he has his own album to work on as well. Queen is able to say "we'll see" because they are at the point in their career where they can pretty much do what they want. If they want to do a new album, they will. If they don't, they don't. (Further and as an aside Queen should be working on the lost Freddie tracks album and THAT'S the album I want to see before anything else - and that's the opinion of 99.999999% of Queen fans - in fact I don't know ONE Queen fan who would rather see a QAL album before the lost Freddie tracks album) Adam can't afford that kind of "we'll see" at the moment because he hasn't gotten to that point in his career. He had one semi-successful album and one...well honestly less than successful one. The "cynical" part of my opinion is that if A3 is a flop, Adam might then jump to do a QAL album because Adam might feel pressured to stay relevant in the music world. And while some would argue that singing with a 40 year old band isn't exactly relevant, would anyone want to bet that a QAL album would sell better than an A3 album? At that point I could see the argument (truthfully or not mind you) that it was Adam's way of trying to stay relevant. I would. I would want to see the Freddie tracks first. But I would like to see ANY new music from Brian and Roger and unlike many Queen fans I do enjoy Adam's voice so would be interested to see what B&R would write for Adam. I mean "has" as in with interviews he can focus on the tour with QAL but when talk of future arises he better make sure that he's mentioning that he's working on A3 so as to remind the old fans and tell any new ones that he has his own career still happening. Obviously if QAL album were to happen it would be post A3 so he has to kind of put all his ducks in a row. These interviews are about promoting the QAL tour. NEXT would be his own album. So to talk of a QAL album there basically IS no discussion. It's not happening until after the tour AND A3 (and hopefully Queen's own next album)

I DMed you when I woke up, BB! Check your Twitter. IMO, plan your trip! So much to do in the LA area. It would be a great vacation! I am 100% positive someone will have extra tickets for you and your BF. You know how Glamberts are! In 5 years, I have never, NEVER seen a concert without Glamberts trying to sell their extra tickets! ETA: To answer one of your other questions, they will not only NOT have all the tickets for the presale, but very often the best seats are not part of a presale. It's why we end up with multiple tickets most of the time! LOL!

IMO the QAL album possibility is a figment of that reporter's imagination and the answers from Bri and Rog and Adam were a polite way of saying NO. The guys were there to answer ALL the questions no matter how far fetched. I wouldn't pay attention to that at all. In other words if they were asked "are you planning a trip to Mars?" they would've answered exactly the same way.
I think a more relevant line of questioning had to do with the expansion of the tour, and there I could see much more reluctance on Adam's part....
