Hope it is OK to post this here. It is from another site, but I just love this comment!  It really is a great "AI Story". I don't think the show itself/Ryan has ever mentioned the partnership on air, but they should because its a good story for the show: unknown guy sings BoRap at Idol audition, makes it to finale, sings w/meets Brian and Roger at finale; they have great chemistry and discuss maybe working together in future, guy embarks on solo career that has him net grammy nomination, hit records, tours the world, etc. but B&R keep in touch; when they need a singer for a big European award show, they call him - the response so good they book a few full gigs in Europe; then they do a high profile US radio festival, response so good they decide to do full blown NA tour. A little over 5 years from when the American public is first introduced to Adam he is on GMA and at MSG with B&R announcing NA tour. Cool storyLove this! It is the main story that Fox TV News is using. So it may not have been on Idol (yet) but Fox is using it.  |

I am not really sure, how 'failure' would have led from a) to b). Well, it did not, because it was not a failure, it just was not the mainstream top40 path.  (especially those bolted parts) Have to love those bolted parts  |

nah not with that post, ok you are both my favorites! Alex too! Now I have a question. Anyone willing to do a comparison of sound/feel of The Forum and the Joint? I am trying to decide if the Forum is worth driving an additional 1000 miles or so for that concert. The I15 on the 4th of July could be and prob will be murder and mayhem, so do I see Adam in Vegas and skip LA or is the experience of him at the Forum worth it. I lucked out and got a good ticket at the Joint for the first night and I want the floor the second to compare the difference. Never did GA. Do I need combat boots? , I know nothing about the Forum. However, I certainly understand wanting to avoid the drive from LA to LV and back. Octagon (formerly prism) and I are considering flying LA to LV. There are some budget carriers that fly that route. The Joint describes the Queen + AL shows as "seated." If you look at their seated concert floor plan there is only a small area marked GA, and it is in the back, not up by the stage. Check out the floor plan before you decide whether this GA is what you want. Also, since there apparently is no pre-sale for the Las Vegas shows, and it seems we'll have to get tickets in the general sale, I don't know how easy it will be to be picky about location. Tickets could go pretty fast since the venue is smallish. peace&love One memorial day the 4 to 5 drive took DH and I 16 long frustrating hours. I'm still traumatized. |

I understand all the discussion and posts about A3 or possible Queen & Adam Lambert album here on Atop. Anyway, I really don't like to read those lines about "A3 failure". I'm excited for Adam's new album. And I'm sure I WON'T be disappointed. And I hope Adam still has a lot of fans - passionate fans. And they will appreciate his new album. Here in the CR we don't hear Adam on radio too often (not to mention TV). Yet he has fans here and as I've found out a lot people here know his music (though only the singles) and they like it! No, I don't want to talk about how succesful or not will be the new album (I'm sort of superstitious to do it ). But I don't want to think about it as 'possible tanked album' even if only hypothetically. Sorry. ( I usually don't join discusses here because I know my English is not too good for it. If I expressed myself weird or said something wrong, I apologize - I didn't mean to insult or offend anybody. Just had to share my thoughts.) |
