*** I left Adam-world for a bit yesterday and visited Queen-land. It is so different. Adam fans have concert lists -- I am going to X, Y, F and P. Queen fans seem to have their ONE concert. I guess Adam fans have perfected binge concert going. *** You must be KIDDING! I mean I have to explain the multiple concert concept/gratification to non-fans .... but ... but ... FANS????? Only planning for ONE concert??? WTF??? Seems strange ... I was raised differently - here on Atop I have never seen anyone I love just once on their tour. Saw P!NK, Katy Perry, Pentatonix multiple times. I always know that the first time will be so good, I will kick myself for not having a ticket for another one! I do have the advantage of living in the LA area where the artists often add on an extra LA show at the end of their tours! I keep forgetting to mention the comment Adam made in one interview (maybe the Lance Bass one), "Oh, my Glamberts will be there!" It warmed my heart to know that he knows he can depend on us!

Not sure if this was already posted .... old (3/7/14) but new to me.... and Brian knows Queenbert : BRIAN MAY SAYS QUEEN MAY "GET A LITTLE ADVENTUROUS" WITH SET LIST ON TOUR WITH ADAM LAMBERT101.7 THE BONE 7 March 2014 Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor revealed to the world on Thursday that the band will be teaming up with ex-American Idol finalist Adam Lambert for a North American summer tour that likely will be the group's final trek. Queen and Lambert have joined forces on several occasions over the last few years, including a brief European tour in 2012, but this will be the first time they'll be mounting a multiple-date run in America. May says that, in addition to playing Queen's classic songs, he, Taylor and Lambert may dig a little deeper into the band's catalog during the tour, which gets under way June 19 in Chicago. "I think we'd like to get a little adventurous," he tells ABC News Radio. "I think we'll have quite a long rehearsal period to try things out. Yeah, we're up for anything…We'll all bring our ideas to the table and we'll try stuff out and…who knows?" May adds that collaborating with a singer who's as talented as Adam inspires him to be more creative and inventive on stage. "You just get that extra little kick, which makes you take more chances and be more dangerous," Brian declares, "and go for it."
As for Taylor, he says Lambert ranks "right up there" among the best vocalists Queen's members have ever played with, which, of course, includes the band's legendary late frontman, Freddie Mercury. "Freddie will never die for us, obviously, in our minds, but [Adam is] just so good with our material," Roger tells ABC News Radio. "He's just one of the great singers, so…I think it's a really great marriage." May, meanwhile, notes that that "marriage" is something fans of both Queen and Lambert are clamoring for. "I see 'em already on Twitter, y'know. It kind of makes me laugh…it's like, 'We need QueenBert!'" jokes Brian. "You know, from Argentina, from Tierra del Fuego, from Beijing, I dunno. The whole world wants us to be together, I think, which is great!" Queen + Adam Lambert's North American tour features a total of 19 dates, and is scheduled to run through a July 20 show in Washington, D.C. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 14, via the Live Nation mobile app and at LiveNation.com. American Express Card Members get early access beginning this Monday in the U.S., and Tuesday in Canada. © brianmay.com (Join us on Twitter and Facebook) brianmay.com/queen/queennews/queennewsmar14a.html#19

Local radio station here Q102 is offering Queen tickets!!!!
Why would this station or I assume there are other radio stations also, have tickets to listeners to call in for????? Adam has no music and Queen is not played SOoooooo
could this be an agreement with new label to offer a hot tickets for this concert for a future guarantee play for his next new single (wishful thinking) but seriously, why would Queen give up tickets to stations here?

Radio stations need prizes for their interactive games and Queen (or here in the world it's more often the promoter) needs to advertise the show. Simple marketing for the tour when the radio says 'you give us tickets and we'll talk about the tour'. They get listeners and the tour gets promo, everyone will hear about it, some buy tickets. Maybe they throw in a nice discount on tour ads too. Many, many stations around the country have tweeted about 'win tickets to Queen+AL'. Nothing to do with any label I believe.
