Sorry, I don't agree about the twitter. I don't think most fans who follow an entertainer on twitter are expecting a "personal relationship". Check out Katy Perry's twitter. She now has 51+ million followers. Her tweets are mostly about her tour, her videos, etc (in other words, self promotion). There is an occasional tweet about a movie she liked or a song she's listened to. But she is not delving into her soul and offering fans anything approaching a "relationship". I don't think a personal relationship was implied or desired. Just more interaction. Katy's tweets are case in point as the are about her music and activities and not so often someone else. I know, different personalities and style at play there.

When you start counting in millions and increment your counter only every 100K followers, it might just seem stuck, when actually, he is continually adding followers. He is at ca. 2,240,000 now. It is still growing. But it obviously, is not going to grow as fast, if it is not as heavily used by Adam right now. I am sure that will change, as he gets closer to having news for us about the album or single. Which app/website is it again, that allows you to look at somebody's follower-history? I am sure somebody will know. I thought he was still adding about 1500 per day. Not bad at all. Here's the link twittercounter.com/adamlambert?manual_update=1

Hey...you asked the question. I am not concerned about his deepest darkest desires and fears....although he was happy addressing these things in the past...but there has been little show of personality at all....very 'pr' ish. I have never followed Katy but went to her twitter because of your mention and actually, her tweets are quite engaging, even when they are promotion. Adam used to be known for his astute use of social media. Nobody would say that if they looked at the last few months, even year or so. No biggie.... He is/was also 'known' for the legitimacy of those numbers....no 'empty' followers.... hey...not trying to tell him what to do at all, just saying. There was a day, not so long ago, when I would run to the computer when ever I heard that twitter alert because it would be Adam being smart or chatty or rant-y. I don't make that run so fast any more...and his tweets aren't so amusing or enchanting any more. I miss those days but ... whatever...his life and his choices.

Oh thanks, whatyasay. So, I just looked, and Adam's tweets actually started ticking upwards since Feb. 19. (change the date range i.e. to 01/01/2014 - 03/15/2014 and you can see how it has picked up recently. Glee aired on Feb. 18 and 25. I did not say that Adam should pour his heart out about his personal life. I am glad he enjoys a bit more privacy. I just think, his focus has not been on twitter recently, so there were no extra incentives to follow. But the Glee effect is clearly visible. I just think, that because it now says 2.2 million, we don't tend to track the detail as much as we used to. And, we are counting arena seats instead, so we are busy.

Crazy person that I am, I actually counted the Forum seating for what is for sale now. 16,025! Yes, I agree! I am nuts!! HAHAHAHAH You are nuts!! But it kind of proves we need to wait for the box scores for capacity for some of these venues because of the staging.

I disagree! I think his tweets and IG are great. As recent as January, he poured his heart out to us. He recently replied to 2 fans about new music. Last night he told the haters off in a very clever way! He IGs often. A little slower since in Stockholm, but if he is holed up recording..... I think that is great!

Graciejane said: I'll get on that board with you. And add the same for Instagram. When glee first started the IG likes shot up substantially (to 25k ish), they have trickled back down to 15k ish. Post a glee pic or a tidbit tweet from time to time and keep everybody engaged. Attention spans are increasingly short and the need to be constantly entertained increases. In my eyes this is easy opportunity lost. ****Well, I think we may be asking just a bit much. Adam definitely has a lot on his plate right now. And we all want him to be finishing his album, which takes a lot of focus. He must be mentally preparing for the QAL tour, and we have no idea what else is coming. He could hire someone to do his tweets for him, but everyone loves the fact that the tweets are truly from him. So I'm happy to wait for him to communicate in his own time. When he gets a little down time, and is at liberty to talk about things, we'll hear from him.
