3.20.14 New concert date? New song? Adam in Sweden, more!

This has got to be intentional, Billboard posting this news. Everything seems so BIG...

So, the way this reads, MM possibly could be the executive producer and the whole album seems to be created there, in one major development effort.

One thing that does surprise me is that the whole story seems to have shifted a bit. In 2013 Adam talked about writing on his album for the whole second half of the year, except for Glee and those year end concerts, of course. At the time it was mostly a 'liking more rock lately' - alternative rock, electronic rock direction that I heard in his very few hints.

Now, in 2014, it sounds like, they were recently still very much in the 'embryonic stage', still writing and everything seems a bit like a new start. Also, with MM, I assume the overall direction is firmly pop, even though pop-rock is certainly quite possible or even likely for some tracks (WWFM).

Otherwise, I am just noting that the leaks are starting, and seem quite intentional at this point. I think that is good news, because it tells me, they got something, that they believe in. And if I am interpreting Tove Lo's comments correctly, finding the right sound for Adam was quite a project in itself.

My interpretation of that is: Everybody gets what an astounding instrument Adam has, but how to build popular music around it and how to produce a unique, yet commercially viable sound for him, is not trivial, and they put substantial effort into trying to figure this one out. Yes, I am reading tea leaves and hanging all that up on that one quote.

Looking forward to hearing what it is going to sound like.

ETA: Mys*&@^#r, which quote do you think is directly from MM? Did I miss something?
