interesting in that to me they all sound alike: same arrangement, same drums, same sound... May be the clips were chosen this way of course..and obviously this is the sound our radio loves, so be it! The voice will be better than any of these Sigh. Like everyone else who loves Adam, I want him to have the commercial success he wants and deserves. Max Martin certainly has written and produced lots of mega-hits for a variety of artists over the years. The serious musician and singer in me just cringes listening to these songs. Catchy, upbeat, but boring and, to me, very generic sounding. Nothing musically interesting in most of them. Lyrically, most of these seem rather banal. And the singers bring nothing original or extraordinary to the mix. Really, it could be anyone singing the numbers. Or just use studio session singers. We know that Adam can sing the hell out of any song and raise it to a new level. But cotton candy fluff is still cotton candy fluff in the end. Fun, but not very interesting to listen to or, I would imagine, to perform. Frankly, this is just me, just my opinion, I am sure most of you will disagree, but I hate to think of Adam getting homogenized and trivialized to this level in order to get a big radio hit and achieve superstar pop status. I hate for his vocal talent, his amazing ability to interpret a song and move me emotionally, his ability to lose himself in song and carry me right along with him.... I hate for that to be wasted and abandoned. I hope I am totally wrong, and Max with Adam produce some amazing songs that blow me away and show off what Adam can do like no other singer out there today. Crossing my fingers. Hey, it COULD happen. And if not, Adam will hopefully have the mega-hits he wants and all the benefits that go with it. Sigh. ETA: Everyone is so ecstatic over this collaboration. I do not want to rain on your parades. Should I delete my post? AMEN, ITA 100% from the depth of my heart. Wonderful post. Thank you.

I just love the Adam reunited with Max Martin again line. Perfect positioning for US Radio who support Adam wants. ** Aleks your story reminds me of one amazing fan moment in my life. When the Glam Nation Tour started my life was very complicated and it looked like I would not be able to go to one concert. My task at the time required me to leave my work, home and family, to move in with my mother who was in her late 80's and to get her into assisted living. For starters, I never got along with my mom. And if you have ever had to do this transition, to get someone to move out of their home and find a suitable, nice, place for her to live, it is HARD. I was lonely, unhappy, depressed, and only long calls to friends and family in my real home, and this fandom keep me above water. But I was just treading water. My mom lives outside of Philadelphia and the first GNT concert was in Wilkes Barre about 2 hours away. After 4 weeks, things were in place, the tour was starting and I did not have a ticket for Wilkes Barre. :( Someone I did not know from this fanbase offered me a ticket to the concert (back on Planet Fierce) -- a ticket in the rafters -- I think it was the last row. I said yes. Told my sister that she had our mom for a week. And went to the concert and a few more that week. When I arrived in Wilkes Barre, I learned that this fan had upgraded on Stubhub to ROW 3. So not only was I at THE concert, I was in f'ing ROW 3. I went to many more GNT concerts. But that first concert, after 4 weeks of hell, was like a gift from god. Since then, I have benefited from many random acts of kindness from Adam fans and observed many more. I have tried to do the same for others when I can. But for the rest of my life, I will always be thankful for that moment when a "stranger" offered me a ticket to a concert. A small act that went on to change me life -- in many, many more ways than I can imagine. ** Now I have turned into a junkie who travels the world in search of Adam Lambert concert thrills!

I hate if Adam's talent is wasted and abandoned for some generic pop songs

Dearest Hoppers, feel free to wear one. Would you like to wear this too? Oh I want one of those for a dance costume. Where is it from? Unfortunately for you, it's a Russian site. I googled green tiaras. www.luxe-line.net/index2.php?kat=tiaras

IDG why anyone would think Adam would let us down, musically, artistically. Has he ever? Didn't he leave RCA over artistic integrity? He appears to be running the show this time and doing exactly what he wants. I can't wait to see what he and Max have come up with.

Unless Adam has a major radio hit, he won't be able to do what he wants. The money and status of being played on the radio will open even more doors for him. He's playing the game and, I think at one point, he said something about needing to relinquish some of the control. jmo.I know. I know. I totally understand the necessity of playing the game, having a long term goal, and the end justifying the means. Believe me, as a musician and performer, I get that you have to give the audience what THEY want, not necessarily what YOU want to perform. I did not mean to come off as critical of Adam's choices or even his direction. He is doing what he has to do. And making the best of it better than most anyone else. He has talked a lot about balancing out artistic integrity and business demands. I am sure he will do his best on A3 to include as much artistry as he can fit into the top-40 themed album. If it positions him to be able to do more artistically creative, original and challenging things as a result, I will enjoy those immensely. Oh, I agree completely with your POV. Musically I was hoping for something different from A3 but the industry hasn't embraced Adam yet and he needs that stupid radio success. I'm hoping too that, just as Trespassing, A3 will be artistically Adam and musically "commercial". I want him to pull this off so much!
