I find it interesting to hear Adam is working with Max Martin. I hope he and the team can create music for Adam which showcases his vocal talent. So many of the people Max has written for are people who don't have Adam's singing chops. Yes, I know the hits that he wrote are massive big sellers, so I am happy that the label invests in new music for Adam and sees Adam as a potential huge pop star. I think this is what Adam wants. So my question is, what happened to Adam's interest in rock or pop-style rock ? Does this collaboration mean we won't see any pop/rock styles from Adam? Just wondering what others think about this. My hope this whole time for Adam working with Max is that Max will bring the rock edge to the pop that Adam needs and deserves. Look at his work with Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and Daughtry. I am ecstatic!!!!

I think Adam will be able to mix the two and, hopefully, lean more to the rock edge side with his voice being front and center. Keeping fingers crossed!!

you've heard half more than I have but at least I am familiar with the artist's names now, five years ago those names would've been unknown as well... not checking the music though... I learned to stay with Adam and now Queen only - much safer for me [laughs] Oh c'mon guys! I can't be the only one here who knows every song on that list. They're all HUGE !!! I do! They are HUGE and I even like them! The fact that he did both , "Since You've Been Gone" (Kelly) and "I Want It That Way?!!" (BSB) Makes him a God!! LOL!

I see some here are a bit reticent about Adam working with Max Martin and the style of music they will use. I could care less what "genre" it is, Max makes hits, and Adam needs a big hit. It could be a polka and I wouldn't care if it became a big hit. Adam got zero radio play from Trespassing (and I thought it was a great album). He doesn't need, nor do I think he can afford, to have that happen again.

YES MAX MARTIN MEANS ADAM IS SIGNED TO A MAJOR LABEL. I think the QAL tour means it is a UMG label. I think Adam already told us it is LAVA. (Universal Republic, UMG) I sure hope it is LAVA. Jason Flom is one of my fav record execs! LAVA is run by Jason Flom who is the exec who personally signed Katy Perry and worked with DMG to make her a mega star. And Jason Flom is also the mastermind behind Jessie J. and Lorde's lable launches. >> In both cases this was not just someone created by a label but a much more complex story. Jason Flom is respected and smart: tns.thenews.com.pk/spotify-made-lorde-pop-superstar/#.UytAUfldUrUOT but very interesting -- more about Lorde: www.hitquarters.com/index.php3?page=intrview/opar/intrview_ScottM.htmlI am a fan of very few vocalists but I am a huge Lorde fan.
This Adam/DMG/Shoshanna TEAM.. is amazing.. their marketing strategy in re-launching Adam's career's so far been amazing. We can see it unfolded slowly to something so beautiful. I want it so badly for Adam to get what he deserves.. a huge pop star who has mega hits singles/albums around the world.

I will probably know none of them but I too don't care. I want a hit maker for Adam. He needs his song. He is ready to be coronated. Just needs the right vehicle to get him to the throne.

It would be interesting if he had a song that's a hit that brings out the softer side of his voice, like that insipid Say Something song. Christina Aguilara sounds very restrained and pretty on that.

Talon, thanks for posting the BBC SESSION 2 - 2011 Remix of What A Fool I've been. You know I love LOVE Freddie's voice, but I think his voice didn't suit for blues or maybe just this song. It's funny because Freddie's a baritone. I can imagine Adam sing this song. Adam's a tenor but his "inner black woman or what he called Ms. Thang" will make this song sound so GOOD. and neither of them (hugh fan of both ,thats why im here, compare to plant end of .jmvho 0 youtu.be/iP9xMobANJM ot ,i ken ,but we are disscusing blues /rock ,and sorry talon ,, think jimmy page is , betterer the dr bri
Lilly -- gotta agree that Robert Plant is more suited to blues than Freddie..... Robert Plant WWL youtu.be/uiLKT5rPHBABut forgetting about the quality of the band (Ledd Zeppelin is Ledd Zeppelin)...I think Adam is better than both of them. This is the Amsterda, Purple Haze + WLL youtu.be/Wl5WFbKMsToAdam even does a classic call-and-response.

Would be fine with Kelly Clarkson / Pink direction. Less so with the Taylor Swift drek direction.... :-) for Glee connection Max Martin co-wrote and produced "Loser like me" for New Directions to sing when they won nationals (gleeks to confirm as I just have vague memory of this)...

I have been playing the game of "What Adam song would I like to hear Brian and Roger's take on?"My current favorite is Sleepwalker ... Brian guitar solo would be swoon-worthy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpXA2vNoASI
