[grumpy] Q3 - please keep that snowstorm away from us. I seriously CANNOT face yet another school cancellation day. #yesI'mgettingold #getoffmylawnyoudamnwhippersnappers ETA: I can't believe that just a few years ago I would have totally danced with every snowfall. Now I just get pissy. I've finally officially turned into my mom. #saveme You actually turn into your mother long before you acknowledge it. Acceptance is the final step.

Oh dear...they're already ADDING SHOWS to this tour??? I don't think my brain (or credit card) can handle this right now, but if they add a show in Atlanta I just might have to take a little drive. NEW ORLEANS would be a DEFINITE DRIVE!

Would love to be a fly on the wall with all the promoter negotiations for more Qberts. That's now 2 shows in both of the casinos. Wheeling and dealing. lol. This tour is growing.......almost thru July! Just when I think I'd like to see the "last" show.....it changes. Personally, nothing would thrill me more than finishing up in Atlanta!

Thrilled to hear they are adding a few more QAL shows. BUT…I’m extremely nervous for the Montreal show. As far as I can tell, ticket sales are sluggish. I know that I can still easily find groups of 4 or more tickets in the lower 100 level (good seats), and have been able to every day since seats went on sale. And of course all the lesser quality seats are nowhere near sold out (I can find a block of 8 in every other section). In fact, it looks like there may still be blocks of decent regular seats they haven’t even put on sale yet. I don’t understand. I also don’t understand why I haven’t seen ANY promo for this show in my city. We’re an important concert market for Montreal, as we’re right in between Toronto and Montreal. It’s perfectly common practice for people here to attend concerts in Montreal. I’m really down about this. :(

I just tried to do a search for information on when genre lines became so important in radio play and hit popularity but nothing appropriate came up. Perhaps it is just that I was not particularly observant as a teenager, but I don't remember songs and radio play being so genre divided. Roy Orbison and Elvis and Johnny Cash all coexisted on the same radio station and pop list. So I never really thought of Roy as western and Elvis not....I just loved them all... It isn't until much later that I became really aware of the different genres....and the type casting of each genre's listening choices. Now there is a whole schemata around each musical genre and heaven forbid we should admit liking or not, competing genres.....when did that all happen? Anybody any expertise in this area?

Not even remotely- I am in very rural Kentucky. Closest shows to me (SO FAR!!) are Chicago or Detroit.

A huge pack of Torontonians were set to do both before the tour was even announced but it's too tight a fit. Dozens (possibly hundreds) of us are headed for NYC instead.
Second (and third) thing: Marc Martel and Yvan Pedreault from Queen Extravaganza and WWRY are both Quebecers.
