Q3, I don't think Adam ever had his own bus. He was always with the dancers and Lane. He did upgrade to his own bedroom though. Yes, you're correct. I phrased that poorly. I was referring to when they added that nice bus for Adam -- but no, he did not ever have a private bus. I am not sure he would want to travel alone. But he did get that bus with the nice, private bedroom. It was from someone else's tour and really nicely outfitted. ** In any case, I saw a lot of GNT concerts and that was one very well-planned, financially maximized tour. ** On Adam and radio. I am very simpleminded. Adam has had 5 singles go to radio and be promoted. 3 failed - all 3 written and produced by Dr. Luke. 2 of 3 co-written with Claude Kelly. 2 succeeded - both written and produced by Max Martin, Shellback. 1 cowritten by Pink. The score of Hot 100 peaks Dr. Luke - FYE - #61 Max Martin - WWFM = #10 Max Martin - IIHY = #30 Dr. Luke - BTIKM = #76 Dr. Luke - NCOE = did not chart on the main chart I do not have a degree in advanced mathematics but I do not need one to see a pattern there. Max Martin >>>> Dr. Luke. *** kittykay: "Miley Cyrus completed her album then shopped a label. Is it possible that Adam would do something similar? " I do not think so. Adam could have made demos that DMG could use to shop around for his label, but not a finished album. We actually do not know if Adam has demos or finished tracks but clearly he does not have a finished album. *** But Miley was in a similar position to Adam. She had to get out or her Hollywood Records contract in order to sign a new deal. She was signed to RCA before it was announced in 2013. Miley also had demos but not a finished album when she signed with RCA. Miley's album is filled with tracks that RCA A&R bought. Miley's first single -- "We Can't Stop" was originally written with recording artist Rihanna but not used. Miley's second single -- "Wrecking Ball" was originally written by Sacha Skarbek and Dr. Luke for Beyonce. It was not used by Beyonce but Miley got it in December 2012. Sasha tweeted about it. Miley's third single "Adore You" was written by Stacy Barthe, Miley recorded it on 12.6.12. They tweeted about it. There was a songwriter's demo of it before Miley recorded it. Get It Right - one of the Pharrell Williams tracks existed before Miley recorded the vocals. I think it was a song Pharrell had around. Just like Miley started recording the big songs in December 2012 (label deal was announced in January 2013 after these were recorded), Adam is working with Max Martin now on the tracks for the album -- and his deal with eventually be announced.

The only fanfic that I read a few pages of I came upon accidentily. It was just after the 2012 QAL concerts. It paired Adam with ..... ELMO! Really wierd! I accidently stumbled upon fanfic when my daughter (then 14) wanted permission to post a very "G" story she had written about the Jonas Brothers. The first story I saw was a Harry Potter fanfic pairing Harry and Draco. I was traumatized. We found an under 18 board for her to post her story on and left LJ. Wut? And missed out on your opportunity of reading explicit-rated red fuzzy monster sex? (Note: Muppet years need not match with human years meaning that Elmo shipping may indeed not involve statutory issues). Will not comment on potential physiology and appropriateness/inappropriateness thereof. ETA: To be fair, I have no idea what Elmo fanfic involves. But when in doubt, I dive for the gutter.

Q3, PERFECT! Definitely a pattern! At least with the 3 that did not make it. Although, I must admit, I love FYE!

Me too! Though if adrenalin didn't take over his AMA performance, FYE could be a great single.
And I like BTIKM.. and I love the music video. It's just weird time to release the single. Not sure what they're thinking when they released it in December.

Q3 I tried quoting your previous post, but couldn't get out of your box. Anyway, in your previous post you mentioned that Adam uses instagram because he has a deal with them.. I don't recall anything being said about this before.. did I miss something? I always have trouble getting out of the quote box when I am using the Google Chrome browser on my laptop. Anyone know why? No problems when using Firefox but I prefer to use Chrome. Anyone know why? I'm using Chrome and I rarely have any problems. When I do, I click on the BBCode box, then I can clearly see the end of the other person's quote, and I hit the return key to jump down under the quote.

Q3, PERFECT! Definitely a pattern! At least with the 3 that did not make it. Although, I must admit, I love FYE! I love the recording and it is my favorite video. It took Adam a while to figure out how to recreate it live. It was a terrible choice for a lead single for someone that is perhaps the best male vocalist in a generation. It still makes me angry how the AMA's were mismanaged from the beginning. FYE being the lead single indicates they planned to market Adam as dangerous and sexy. They gave him an unsingable song and a complicated set meant for someone lipsyncing. They hyped the performance every commercial as "the performance everyone will be talking about tomorrow". All they had to do was let Adam be Adam and America would have fallen in love. RCA/19 not realizing who Adam was from the very beginning. (Can you tell I have watched old interviews lately)

Well, FYE was struggling at radio before the whole AMA thing. It is a great song (with an awesome video) which might have worked if it wasn't the first single. I think Adam needed WWFM released first out the gate to form that bridge between "Idol Adam" and "post-Idol Adam"

But the reason I could not make it past 2 pages was because it was very poorly written.

And I like BTIKM.. and I love the music video. It's just weird time to release the single. Not sure what they're thinking when they released it in December. I love FYE three!! I was sure it would go Platinum. I really did not think about the lack of flow between that song and 2009 pop radio. I would not have put the weird (for radio) vintage beat track on it, and I would not have made Adam sign it is that key, and I would not have made Adam sing an unmodified Britney Spears leftover. Too bad that they did not modify the lyrics, put on a contemporary beat track (I think the retro-glam production was Adam's idea). These are not the lyrics you want an out gay man singing in 2009.... Oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
'Ya thought an angel swept you off ya feet
But I'm about to turn up the heat
I'm here for your entertainmentIt's alright
You'll be fine
Baby, I'm in control
Take the pain
Take the pleasure
I'm the master of both
Close your eyes
Not your mind
Let me into your soul
I'm a work it 'til you're totally blown
No escaping when I start
Once I'm in I own your heart
There's no way you'll ring the alarm
So hold on until it's over
Oh, do you know what you got into?
Can you handle what I'm 'bout to do?
'Cause it's about to get rough for you
I'm here for your entertainment
*** Just one other thing I have been wondering about since I saw Miley's Blurred Lines performance. Did RCA actually encourage Adam to be outrageous on the AMAs? The single that RCA picked was extremely provocative. The label selected the production director. The label pitch it to the AMAs as being the closing number, and being edgy, provocative. I'll sure they did not plan on the kiss and finger, but the guys on leashes were there, and the closets, and the S&M stuff. Just interesting to me how the same label had Miley using the same strategy. Could be a coincidence but I believe in patterns of behavior, and that looks like at pattern to me. Go back a bit, and you have Sony/Jive's Britney basically doing the same thing more than once.

Yea, but most of the top female pop stars, even from diffetent labels, had been doing provocative for years. But there have not been many male pop stars doing provocative.
