Yes, but that means, if I understand this right, that this Julie is a song-writer from Finland, yet she seems mostly unfamiliar with him and only recollected some songs, when they were mentioned to her, but did not recognize Adam. In a country like England or Germany that would not surprise me, but it did surprise me somewhat in Finland, where Adam had a much bigger presence both as an artist, as well as a public figure, obviously.
Maybe she is in a totally different genre, or maybe she does not listen to current music, who knows. There are people in the US, who are on the voting panel for the Grammy's for pop music, who apparently don't seem to listen to pop and nobody seems too concerned about that either.
I'm always torn between enjoying to read that Adam can go somewhere and is not instantaneously recognized as famous and treated differently, and yet, it also hurts me, when I read something like this, because I want him to have all this success. One day, I'll make up my mind, I promise.

Thank you, csquared! I am going to get it! Ooooh is there a link available for the article?? Hmm, the article is a little different from the one that came out online on March 6. I don't know if there's a way to link to the print version. ETA I found a tweet with a photo of it but I can't figure out how to embed it... twitter.com/cuckooo4adam/status/448870859592044545/photo/1

Quote from belle: "....the Finnish media knows Adam and is interested although there has been no mentions of him for a long time. They picked up the IG pic when checking for their interview what Julie is currently doing. Even the tour with Queen was not a widely reported news. I was actually looking for a review of Tove Lo's concert thinking that she might have mentioned making music with Adam." I have been sensing a big change but this is the first somewhat quantitative acknowledgement. Now that Adam is no longer Finland's favorite son in law there has been quite a change in interest in him there, huh? I assume this is not just within the media as they sell what there is interest in. What is your, or anyone else in the know's, take on Adam's current image/fan following there? The quote above is my assessment only - and this is too. There has been a big change like no pap pics outside bars etc are reported without Sauli or any of his red carpet type appearances either. Not even music-related news like Glee but that may be due to the fact that the season is not on TV here yet. If I remember correctly they showed the previous season last autumn and now there is a re-run from the start on a very small channel. One-off concerts in the US were not news before and not now either. That leads to no Adam mentions/articles in the media. I do believe that when there's new music, he will get a lot of media coverage for that. But I guess he will lose the repeated reinforcing of the message added in with random pics. However, both media people and audiences got to know him and will remember - like in this case. I found it a bit funny that the radio people didn't ask what she was doing in Sweden but instead were interested in what she was doing with Adam. I see that as a sign of Adam's high status as a well-known celebrity - and surely they remeber he's a musician too. Hopefully the Queen tour gets mentioned when it's actually happening but I don't expect big coverage for that as it's not happening close-by, not even in Europe. I've been waiting for monthly music magazines if they'll mention it, we'll see. I can't really say anything about the fans but I don't see any reason to stop liking the music due to the break-up but probably less interest in following his everyday life in general. Well, less opportunities too for the casual fans, when there's no articles. I would assume there are less requests to radio also but that could be the case regardless of Sauli. The Trespassing era was over in a way for many of us when WAG ended. Adam's songs are still played in the radio though, a little less than year ago I presume. I haven't thoroughly checked the playlists for some time but peeked one today. In a day and a half 'Nova' had played WWFM, IIHY and FYE once each. We have a couple of stations that have mixed playlists that could include Adam, naturally the more current hit -oriented don't play his music at the moment.

Yes, it seems Adam works with quite a lot people on A3. :D I just wonder if some of those artists talk about their cooperation with Adam because they know it could get them more publicity (they for sure know Glamberts will notice these news. ). I read this article as Adam worked with them for their album. OFC, any song they wrote can end up anywhere. You may be right about the album Mys*&@^#r. I just skimmed the PP article and read these lines in EQ Music: “We’ve been working with these girl from New York called The Rich White Ladies and we produced and wrote an EP with them, it’s pretty awesome,” the band says. “Adam [Lambert] came to the house and wrote with us a couple of times. He is working on his new album. I wrote with Jeffree Star for his album. We are writing a lot for other people.” (http://eqmusicblog.com/eq-music-interview-with-semi-precious-weapons/) and assumed - probably wrong - from itthey were talking about Adam's album.

That's correct, she's from Norway (and a young girl, 19). I believe Adam's not as well known there as he is in Finland but I would attribute her not recognizing Adam to Melvin. WWFM was a hit in 2010, that's a long time ago, also two years from Trespassing - and he looked very different then. Julie did write in her blog that she knew his songs when she checked him out. I'd give her a pass for not connecting the dots at a chance encounter in a noisy and packed night club. In Sweden, no less - I think only a fan would know Adam's in Stockholm recording.

Thank you belle for your insight and honesty-and company. If nothing else comes from Adam and Sauli's relationship it did foster a great appreciation of the Finnish people with me, and I am sure, countless fans around the world.

Thanks Belle, blueberry, evergreen for clarifying. It makes totally sense that Adam would be less in the media in Finland now, just like the European tours, be it WAG, or be it the bigger QAL tour, were both not much news here in the US. I still find it amazing, how much the Finish people took to Adam's music and also to him as celebrity, even before Adam had met Sauli. Obviously, the relationship heightened that interest further and widened the media coverage about him. Adam is played more in Finland on radio than here in his home country, so it was solely a matter of curiosity to ask about this song-writer, who now seems to in all three Scandinavian countries at times. Thanks for the info. Moving on. The Economist has two articles this week about the music industry, the growing importance of streaming services, especially in Sweden, and there are a few numbers and statistical references, for those interested in the business side of things. www.economist.com/news/business/21599350-record-bosses-now-hope-online-streaming-could-become-big-enough-business-arrest-theirand www.economist.com/news/business/21599353-land-abba-takes-streaming-i-have-streamSubscription may be needed, to read both.
