I was so looking forward to my cake today...my birthday. But no wonder there was nothing, under my profile it said "hide birthday". I don't remember doing that, but if you want a cake be sure that you check that "profile" page and "personal"  adding my own gaudy cake  and I just figured out how to add my own cake!! One question: Do we have a site where all the Queen lessons are together? I have to miss some days and I could go back and check but I just wondered if there was a thread that I was missing! Thank you for all the info. Q3 and Talon.  I am a happy birthday girl, but don't tell anyone (my family thinks I am going to one concert) but after the new additions it is up to 4!!!!!!!!!!! How did that happen??  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, lifeisnow2! I have been sensing a big change but this is the first somewhat quantitative acknowledgement. Now that Adam is no longer Finland's favorite son in law there has been quite a change in interest in him there, huh? I assume this is not just within the media as they sell what there is interest in. What is your, or anyone else in the know's, take on Adam's current image/fan following there?

Swedish-speaking national radio station in Finland has an article of Julie Bergan on their site, with Adam mention and their selfie we've seen already. She's in Finland writing music with a couple of Finns. Link and Adam part with help of google trnsl: svenska.yle.fi/artikel/2014/03/25/julie-bergan-trivs-i-finlandThe other day we saw something really interesting on Julie's Facebook page, namely a selfie taken with Adam Lambert. (IG pic) - We then went out dancing a bit on Saturday, and then I met a guy who was really cool and nice. He told me that he also was involved with music and we talked for a while. Then my friends told me that it was Adam Lambert. Then I just had to take a picture. ETA I know the above is not important, the same story as in her blog that I posted yesterday. It only tells that the Finnish media knows Adam and is interested although there has been no mentions of him for a long time. They picked up the IG pic when checking for their interview what Julie is currently doing. Even the tour with Queen was not a widely reported news. I was actually looking for a review of Tove Lo's concert thinking that she might have mentioned making music with Adam. Thanks belle, that is a bit different from yesterday where she said he told her who he was and this says her friends told her who he was. I like this one better. You are a perceptive reader, thanks for pointing that out! I went back to compare the three languages and see that I made a mistake yesterday. I was reading only the crappy English version in the end and put a comma in a wrong place in my mind. She says the same thing but google gives 'before I was with said it'. Re-reading the original out loud makes it clearer even though she leaves out 'was with whom' when writing in spoken language but I trust the Swedish speaking radio people to get it right. Adam could have said his whole name in presenting himself but surely more natural (in a club) is to use the first name only which leads to 'someone else said it'. I edited the earlier post like this: Fun fact is that I did not know he was famous before I was with him and he told me the people I was with told me. |
